Everything Was Falling Apart - Real Life Stories

I was going through a period in my life where everything was turned upside down. I was at a job that required me to work over 55 hours a week, my home life was very stressful, and I had started to distance myself from friends and family.

My job started to become a very hostile environment. Life at home was even more hostile. I started to see everything that I had worked so hard for falling apart. I would cry myself to sleep at night and would cry at work in between breaks. One day at work, I couldn’t catch my breath. I had the biggest panic attack that I had ever had at my desk. They called 911, and I was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance. The doctor came in and told me he was going to put me on medicine that would stop the panic attacks. However, I wouldn’t be able to work or drive a motor vehicle. The medicine would basically keep me sleepy and sedated all day long. I went to the pharmacy to have the prescription filled, and the pharmacy told me the medicine was on backorder. As soon as the shipment came in, they would call me.

I went home and cried out to God. I began to pray Mathew 18:18.

“Verily I say unto you, whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” Real Life Stories

I began to use my authority and quote God’s word. I never had another panic attack from that day forward. For about like to this type of inspirational story Visit : www.reallifestoriesbooks.com

Light a Spiritual Fire with a Full-Time Evangelist in Every Church

When the Apostle Paul wrote these words to Timothy, Paul believed that his days on Earth were coming to an end. Paul wanted to help prepare Timothy to carry on the important work of taking the Good News about Jesus Christ to those who had not yet heard. As long as one person has not heard and understood about Salvation, our work as witnessing Christians isn’t done, despite the challenges we may face to do so. That’s what Paul wanted us to remember. In practice, Paul was simply reaffirming to another generation what all followers of Jesus had been commanded to do by Him: After  being saved through His grace, we must help others receive the same gift. Why was that message important in the early church? Few had heard of Jesus, and many who had heard disputed His Divine nature.Jesus knew how important this task was because it was his last direction to his eleven disciples in the book of Matthew. (See Matthew 28:19-20.) Last messages are remembered best, and our Lord was again perfect in His wisdom in choosing this message.

When Paul was still called Saul, he had a hard heart toward Jesus and the early Christians, being a leader in rebuking, punishing, and stoning them. Paul only accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior after He appeared in His blinding glory on the road to Damascus and asked Paul why he was persecuting Him. God’s plan wasn’t to repeat that method of conversion, as was evidenced by Christ sending Paul a vision of Ananias restoring Paul’s sight and then directing Ananias to perform the miracle and to baptize Paul in the Holy Spirit.Despite this clear direction and the hard work of many great pastors, missionaries, evangelists, and witnessing Christians for nearly two thousand years, a global survey today would probably show that the majority of people on Earth either don’t know about God’s promises to us or don’t believe those promises. That’s a sad commentary on how well we are following the Lord’s direction to bring His Good News to everyone. How many lost people are there compared to those who are saved? Only God knows, but the ratio is surely no more than ten to one and may well be as low as six to one. Some would argue that the 30 percent of the world’s population that identify themselves as

Christians are a larger number, but many of those self-proclaimed Christian Testimonies  have not repented of their sins and accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. If we equally divided names of the lost into individual lists for each Christian, there would only be six to ten names on each list. If each Christian immediately began making contacts, each lost person would hear the Good News very quickly. Some Christians would be done making first contact in a single day to their share of the lost. If these Christians repeated the contacts daily, most would have succeeded in getting the message across in a convincing way to their share of the lost within a month. As the number of Christians grew and more people joined in witnessing, the number of people for each Christian to contact would become smaller and each lost person would receive more testimonies. The combined effect of such a concentrated effort would be marvelous. Some people undoubtedly have such hard hearts that they wouldn’t receive the blessings of this heavenly information no matter how many Christian Testimony Books they heard. But the task of fulfilling God’s call to help all be saved would be as complete as Christian efforts and prayers can Witnessing Made Easy: Yes, You Can Make a Difference accomplish. Christians could then keep knocking on the hard hearts and eventually many more souls would be saved. What’s our point? If everyone does some witnessing, it’s not a big job. Why then is there so much work to be done? It’s because most Christians don’t share their faith with lost people. Many people estimate that over 90 percent of Christians have never witnessed to anyone, and most of the rest have done little witnessing. Our survey at Jubilee Worship Center (JWC) showed that the majority of church members were either doing nothing or very little before being exposed to the church’s emphasis on witnessing. Here is what one Christian woman told us about her attitudes  toward witnessing before meeting in-congregation evangelists at JWC:

I have attended church for most of my adult life and have been involved in many of the ministries of the church. I have taught Sunday School to preschoolers through adults, served as an elder, served as church secretary, served as janitor, etc., just as many other church members have done. To me, this was what church was all about, and I found great satisfaction in what I was doing. The internal workings of the church were my delight. That was all I knew.     The churches I had attended placed little or no emphasis on evangelism …. We were under the impression that anything to do with Evangelism Training was under the job description of the pastors and the missionaries. This was their duty and that’s why we hired them. We all knew that passing out tracts or tapes or whatever was for the overboard fanatics … all this was out of our scope.

Change satisfied witnessing inaction into inspired witnessing, and Christians will quickly and easily transform humanity in the ways that God intended. How do you get everyone busy witnessing? You need an in-congregation evangelist to light the fire of desire for witnessing and to fan its flames with teaching how to witness. Why do we say that? Because our survey answers showed that JWC members who responded (almost the whole congregation) became active witnesses after in-congregation evangelists were appointed.

The Evangelist is very important in Christianity

A person that preaches Christianity to others by addressing different gospels and testimonies is known as an evangelist. Christian testimony includes the problems in life and their solution

You should tell your testimony by telling the problems you were facing before meeting Jesus. What was that problems and how many time you fail to solve these problems? Then you will tell that how you get closer to Jesus. What is the reason that you decided to consider Jesus for your help? At last, you should share the part of life after meeting Jesus that how Jesus change your life. You should share that how is your living going now. Evangelism is the process of campaigning faith in Christianity. In evangelism, people share the gospel for preaching the impact of Jesus on life. There are a lot of evangelism strategies that include evangelism by spreading the bibles and gospel by media or road evangelism. If you want to preach Christianity then chooses the best evangelism methods. Evangelism is the best way to describe your love and affection with god and if you want to be an evangelist then follow these evangelism ideas:

  • If you want to be a good evangelist then pray for others during evangelism because prayer enhances the spiritual attraction. So prayer is the good evangelism tool.
  • If you want to preach your faith then try to share your own experience if the life that how your life changed after meeting Jesus.
  • If you want that other people should start believing Jesus then show them the influence of Jesus in your life and how Jesus solves your problems.
  • If you have good communication skills then it will be very helpful for you to preach your faith. Testimony is a good evangelism tool for preaching the faith.
  • You should share the current situation of your life and how is your life going after knowing Jesus.

In the 20th century, the child evangelism movement was started. The purpose of this movement is the preaching of testimony and gospel to children of 4 to 14 years. The power team was established in 1970 which consist of some Christian Testimonies athlete that spread the message of God for salvation. The advanced evangelism method is preaching faiths by traveling in far areas and by a conversation on the internet.

My Search for Love - Real life stories

I was born and raised in Illinois. I’m from a middle class family. My upbringing was less than perfect. There was a lot of fighting and strife in my home. I love my family, and my parents did the best they could, so that’s all I’m going to say about that and Christian Testimonies

As a young girl and into womanhood, I was always looking for love. I wanted that fairy tale white knight that would come rescue me from all that was wrong with the world and save me from myself. This mindset directly led to the addictions I developed: alcohol, pot, cocaine/crack, prescription drugs, and eventually heroin. My search for love and my need to fill a void led to very unhealthy relationships. When I was 15, I lost my virginity to a 25 year old married man. I was this family’s babysitter from the time I was 13. I guess by the time I turned 15, this man thought I was woman enough to do as he pleased. I thought I was mature. I was for my age, but not mature enough for that, emotionally or any in other way. I thought I was in love with him, and he told me he was in love with me. To make a long story short, his wife found out. My whole world was turned upside down. I lost him, her (who was at one time my best friend), and their kids that I had grown to love like they were my own. I was more than just the babysitter. I was their friend. I hung out there every weekend, they were kind of… my life. So it was a pretty devastating time. That whole situation pretty much set the tone for my future relationships with men. From here on, it was a life of bad relationships, drugs, and alcohol. It seemed that with every new man came a new drug and a new demon for me to inherit.

Later that year when I was still 15, I met my first real boyfriend. He was 20 years old. He turned out to be physically abusive and very controlling. During that relationship, I dropped out of high school and had my first child at the age of 18. I ended up leaving him when my son was 5 months old. I got a fake I.D. and starting hitting the bars. It wasn’t long before I had a serious drinking problem and started using cocaine due to meeting abuser #2. He was 10 years older than me and was going through a divorce. He supplied me with plenty of cocaine. He was nice and sympathetic to my situation, but he soon turned abusive too. The beatings were far worse than the first boyfriend. The drugs were out of control, and so was the abuse. With him I suffered physical, mental, and emotional abuse and even rape. I had two more children with him. In my mind, there was no way out. So I stayed and suffered for 10 years. During those years he and I both picked up a bad habit with hydrocodone. This was on top of the daily cocaine use. I was arrested for my first felony, picking up a fraudulent prescription in Illinois. While out on bond for that charge, I was arrested in Indiana for the same thing. I was 28.

I was so dependent on the drug that the physical withdrawals made me want to die. When you are in bondage to a drug that you are physically sick without, you’ll do whatever you can to ease the pain. At the time I was taking forty 10mg pills a day. That is about 8 times the maximum amount prescribed to take in a day. I lost 50 pounds because it made me so sick I usually threw up about 5 times a day. I am very fortunate to be alive. I finally got away from him because he went to prison. However, I was lost without him. I know that sounds crazy, but when you are controlled by an abuser for so long you end up losing any existence of your own. I was with him from age 19 to age 29, so it was like he practically raised me. It’s pretty sick thinking, I know. I was left with three kids. I was evicted, had lost my job, and had no car.

I was on probation for my two felonies. After about two weeks of a horrible detox, I had finally kicked the pills. However, as any addict does, I just traded one addiction for another. I was living from place to place, drinking heavily, and just continued to be lost. I had to eventually give my kids to their father’s family. I wasn’t fit to take care of them, and I didn’t have a stable home for them to live in. I still saw my kids here and there, but eventually my selfishness led me far from them. I was too focused on my path to self-destruction to care about anything else. There were brief spaces of time where I really tried to get my act together and had a game plan to make things better. I even put myself in rehab several times. It never took. I always fell again and always worse than the time before.

Then entered Brad, who is now my husband. I know what you’re thinking, “Oh, he must be that knight in shining armor she was looking for all her life.” That’s not even close… Brad and I met in a bar and started seeing each other. Very soon, we fell madly in love. He was different from the others. He never hit me or called me names. He was peaceful and mellow. We had big dreams. We talked about getting married and having a home and babies. The devil had other plans for us first.

Bars were our thing for the most part. He had told me about his addiction to heroin, but he was clean from it at that point, as far as I knew. Before long, his demon became my demon, and we starting using heroin together. Our lives very quickly fell to pieces, not that they were ever really together. We were drenched in sin.

We stole from family and friends. We burned every bridge we had. My family completely let me go and would have nothing to do with me. I was shooting $200 worth of heroin a day. My daily life was a vicious circle of stealing, pawn shops, and getting to the west side of Chicago to get my drug. Every day was a race against the withdrawals, a panic to get my drug before I got sick. Nothing else mattered. We were homeless, hopeless, and soulless. It was a sick existence. We slept in hallways of roach infested slums on the west side. We begged for money on the street and stole from anyone we could.

Heroin is pure concentrated evil. You become a slave to it. Nothing else matters, and it is the closest I will ever come to being demon possessed. I think back to the end of these days and remember how I just wanted to die. I was utterly hopeless and without purpose. I remember shooting up and praying it would be the shot that killed me. I desperately wanted to end my suffering. I wanted to end the monster I was and end the pain I was inflicting on others. I was empty and broken down so deep I couldn’t see any glimpse of light.

I ended up violating my probation in both states and went to jail. After another horrible detox and 6 months in county jails, I was sentenced to a work release program. This was the turning point in my life. I have to express the sheer genius of God’s perfect plan. The program had just opened up for women. Had it worked out any other way, I would have gone to prison and would not have met the people I did. God worked through every one of them. They were perfectly placed in my life to help me grow into the person I am today.

Now let me tell you about the people God used the most, to show me a way out of the darkness and into His glorious light. While in the program, I met Pastor Michael. He worked there teaching a couple different classes I attended. He is my shepherd and has been there for me through so much. I’m surprised he didn’t fire me from the church last year. I was very needy and called him as much as 20 times a day during a time my husband went thru a very hard time. I also met Adele, who was the praise and worship leader at the church. She came into the program and taught bible studies every week. Almost immediately, I felt a pull toward her. I know now that the pull I felt was actually toward Jesus that lives in her. During one of her bible studies, I accepted Jesus into my life. At another bible study after that, I was telling her some of my concerns and I was being released soon. I had nowhere to go, no money, and no one who cared anymore. I didn’t even have anyone to pick me up when I got out. Adele said “Well, I’ll pick you up. We will find somewhere for you to go, don’t worry.” To most people this probably seems trivial, but it was this small act of kindness that won my heart to the Lord. In that moment Jesus revealed to me that I was never again going to be alone. Adele saw me through God’s eyes. Through my eyes, I saw God in her.

By the time I was released, I had arranged for another ride. After I was picked up, I was literally left out on the street. The person who picked me up lied about the fact that he arranged somewhere for me to stay. Once that fell through, he just left me there. I called Adele. She picked me up, and our church put me up at a motel. Adele took me, got me some food, and provided me with the things I needed. To make a long story short, I ended up going to live in a bad situation. I was reading my bible every day and going to church. I was seeing my kids every day and doing my best to block out the evil around me, but it was starting to slither back into my life. That’s what the enemy does. But God!!!! Like God does, He pressed my life once again to repentance. One day after a violent, abusive situation with the person I was living with, God said, “Enough!” I called Adele and cried out to her that I needed help. She and her husband came to pick me up and took me into their home. Keep in mind, I was pretty much a stranger. I was an acquaintance at best. They both knew that I had been a junkie, a thief, and a liar for the greater part of my life. Because God spoke and told them, “Take her, raise her up in Me, and I will do great and mighty things in her,” I am here today. All glory to God, but I also have to thank Paul and Adele for their total obedience and for heeding the voice of the Lord rather than listening to their own fears. They’ve never expressed any fears to me, but I’m positive they must have had them. During my time with them, I was immersed in the word of God and the things of God. It was because God had given me a thirst for Him. It was never forced upon me. We became family. They call me daughter, and I call them mom and dad. They taught me, counseled me, scolded me, corrected me, loved me, and never gave up on me through thick and thin. I know I can be stubborn and rebellious, but God has done a mighty work in me and He is not done yet. Now, it is clear to me that Paul and Adele were pre-destined to be my spiritual parents and me their spiritual daughter.

I started writing to Brad as soon as I moved into Adele’s house. He was in prison at the time. I wrote him in one letter “Hey, ya know that thing we have been looking for all our lives? I found it!” I starting telling him about a man named Jesus. He wrote back saying, “You’re gonna be a Bible thumper now? Seriously?” Well, Brad ended up getting saved and baptized by the Holy Spirit with evidence of tongues in Prison Ministry Resources.

Over the last 4 years that I’ve been saved, God has done miraculous things in my life. First of all, He saved my life and my soul. He has delivered me from drugs, alcohol, and cigarettes. I mean delivered! There is absolutely nothing inside of me that desires any of that anymore. That part of me is dead and gone. Who the Son sets free, is free indeed! He gave me a job and then a better job. All my relationships with my family have been restored. My kids are back with me and are being raised up in the Lord. We’ve gone from a one bedroom apartment to a three bedroom house and from one vehicle to two. The Lord also restored and strengthened my marriage, after a brief separation when my husband first got home from prison. The devil tried to tear our marriage apart... but God!!! My life now is to serve the Lord, Adele passed the torch, and I now teach bible studies at the program, where I got saved. I have earned my G.E.D and am now attending college to earn my bachelor’s degree in the science of criminal justice with a concentration in human services. My goal is to become a substance abuse counselor. Who better to understand addiction than a former junkie, right? Doors are being opened all the time for me to reach the unreachable. I thank God and just pray He uses me for His glory more and more every day. These are by far the best years of my life, and it’s only just begun. I have faith, not to mention proof that God can do exceedingly, abundantly, far beyond all I could imagine. He has made me the head and not the tail. He has set me above and not beneath. His plan for me is for good and not for evil, to give me a hope and a future! It’s all for His glory! And the best part of it is, if He will do it for me, He will do it for anyone who calls on his Holy name! Friend, are you searching for love like I was? Are you looking for love in all the wrong places? Has your search left you addicted to drugs or alcohol? Has your search caused you to do things you never thought you would do? Do you want the white knight that rescued me to rescue to rescue you? He will if you ask Him! Call out to Him right now!

I GOT SO SICK & TIRED OF MY LIFESTYLE - Christian Testimony

In my sophomore year of high school, I started to drink and party. One beer turned to smoking pot. I started to bar hop and get deep into rock and roll music. Between the years of 14-24, I just loved to get drunk and party. My girlfriend was pregnant, we married and we had a daughter, Jennifer. Her mother left me shortly after that. The next three years of my life were lost years. I had no idea of my purpose in life. I played and loved baseball. I tried out for a major league, but I wasn’t good enough to make a living out of it.

At age 21, I started going to different race tracks. It was then that I started gambling and betting on horses. This was the worst time of my life. I loved the high of winning and seeing your horse cross the finish line. But every time I bet, I lost 90% of the time. Even when I won, I would lose the money the next day. I would lose my whole paycheck on those Friday nights and would scrape through the week. Some weeks I would go 6 days a week.

I would remember leaving the race track in 1979 with no money. I started crying out to God. I constantly would think, what is wrong with me? I didn’t realize that God was dealing with me. I know now that the Holy Spirit was showing me the way out of my mess. God was creating in me a clean heart and renewing in me a right spirit. I started hating what I was doing and just started begging God to change my life and help me. I got so sick and tired of my life style. I started hating the bar life and partying. I was tired of getting drunk all the time and being high on drugs. The gambling addiction had messed me up so bad, I never had money. Then, one day I saw this church that I drove by 9 months earlier. I said, I am going to give up this life of sin and I am going to serve God 100%. That week-end I went to the race track that last time and had my last beer. That Sunday morning I went to that church and totally surrendered my life to Jesus Christ. I was ready to live like the apostles of old. God’s presence was guiding me and preparing me for a divine appointment with Him. I renounced all my wicked ways. I asked God to deliver me from addictions of gambling, drugs and drinking. I remember just crying and crying because God was totally changing my life. Three days later, a scripture just lifted up my heart. It said, “If any man be in Christ he is a new creation.” I used to always wonder about when people would say, “Are you saved?” I now know what they meant. Old things passed away! For me, that meant drinking, gambling, drugs.

February 2, 1980 Sunday morning, Oh what a day! That was the day when I made an absolute surrender to God. I gave my life to Jesus and I experienced a new life in Christ or Christian Testimony . Old things passed away and all things became new. I use to wonder about that phrase, “born again “what did that mean? I loved God, grew up in a beautiful Christian home, but I had no idea what born again was all about. I knew about God but to have a real relationship, I never knew. I did not know a life like this could exist.

It’s been 35 years now and I have never gone back to those old ways. I now go around sharing the new and everlasting gospel of Jesus Christ. That sinner, you don’t have to sin anymore! Jesus saves from sin, sickness, and death! Jesus came to restore our lives! God Bless you as you read this and may you find God our Father through Jesus Christ by His power and the wonder working presence of His Holy Spirit. And Jesus would say to you, “Come unto me! Only believe and I will give

Do you remember Your day of Salvation?

My Day of Salvation!

I remember it, like it was yesterday!!

Another day, I remember like it was yesterday, happened 3 days after my day of salvation.

On that day, a man of God challenged me to write my testimony, put into a 3 fold flyer like a tract and start giving it to people in everyday life.

On that day I became an Ambassador for Christ. On that day I choose to live a witnessing lifestyle, daily letting people around me know that God had provided a way of escape from sin and that through Jesus Christ their sins could be forgiven and they could be connected to God!

What I just described is found in 2 Corinthians chapter 5 :17-21.

Every born again Christians first ministry starts in these scriptures. The moment we are saved, Jesus gives us the ministry of reconciliation. Telling sinful man how they can be forgiven and connected to God through Jesus Christ. If we are not first doing this ministry, none of our gifts and callings will be fruitful!

The day I agreed to write and use my Salvation Testimony to reach out to lost people, I also accepted my place as an Ambassador of the Kingdom of God!

As an Ambassador of God when the issues of life come against you, you stay the course and you keep telling people about Jesus!  As an Ambassador of God your all in, there is no turning back.
Your citizenship and Life are all about the Kingdom of God!
When you live as an Ambassador of Christ, you live in resurrection power! You live with a confidence of who you are in Christ! You know your purpose ! You know your mission!
Yes! The issues of life still come, but they do not control your life!
As an Ambassador of the Kingdom, with Kingdom responsibilities  you stay focused on Kingdom business!

I am so grateful today, that I was challenged to be Christ Ambassador!

If you would like to know more about answering the call to be and Ambassador for Jesus.

Evangelism is the process of campaigning faith in Christianity

Christian testimony is the description of the journey of someone's life that how he converted to Christianity and how Jesus influence his life. Testimony includes the lesson of life that helps a person to believe in God.

It may be a miracle that happens in the life of a person and all of his problems are solved. Testimonies are very influential for new believers and non-believers due to the changing of life after believing Jesus. Christian testimony includes the problems in life and their solution after believing and praying to Jesus.

What’s My Ministry??

Are Christians doing other forms of ministry, such as; deacons, elders, worship team, ushers, childcare, day care ministry, youth ministry, senior ministry, women’s ministry, men’s ministry, audio video and sound ministry, parking lot ministry, maintenance ministry, janitor and security exempt (excused) from being a witness for Jesus?

Are apostles, prophets, pastors and teachers exempt (excused) from being a witness for Jesus?

2nd Corinthians 5:17-18.     Therefore, if anyone  is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation.

To reconcile means to put something that was once one, that was torn apart  back together again.

Man was created to be with God. Man sinned and his relationship with God was torn apart, severed or split. But God had a plan, that sinful man could be reconnected to Him, that their relationship could be restored or put back together by Jesus Christ.Once a man’s relationship is restored,  the man is then given the ministry of helping other men connect to God by telling them what Jesus Christ has done for them. The ministry of reconciliation belongs to everyone that has been reconciled to God.At the moment a person is born again or saved the ministry of reconciliation, telling man how to connect to God through Jesus Christ belongs to that new believer.

So, the first calling the first responsibility of every Christian is to the ministry of reconciliation. (Being involved in other forms of ministry does not change or stop your first calling!)The first calling of an apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor and teacher is also to the ministry of reconciliation!!This calling, this responsibility started the moment they were born again and this responsibility stays with them in their callings of apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor and teacher!!!   This first calling to the ministry of reconciliation never changes or ends!!Obedience to this first calling will enhance and help make their 5 fold ministry calling more fruitful!!

Indiana Regional Unity Gatherings - Real Life Stories Books

In December, 2012 as Jim Barbarossa prepared to speak a message at a Saturday night meeting, he kept hearing the word “Unity” over and over again in his spirit. Then God directed Jim to go look in an old file cabinet in his garage. To Jim’s amazement in the back of this old file cabinet were 30 messages Jim wrote as a baby Christian, 18 years earlier. One of those messages was on the topic of “Unity” in the Body of Christ.

Jim preached that “Unity” Message on December 22, 2012.

You can watch the “Unity” message video at our website: www.reallifestoriesbooks.com.

Shortly after preaching the “Unity” message, the Father told Jim to call a meeting of leaders, elders and 5-fold ministers for the purpose of joining hands and working together to equip the saints to go beyond the walls of our buildings to reach and disciple the lost.

On January 20, 2013 the Father brought together forty 5-fold ministers representing a diversity of 12 churches scattered throughout three Northwest Indiana counties, including the cities of Valparaiso, Porter, Chesterton, Portage, Gary, Michigan City, St. John, plus Hazelcrest, IL and Chicago, IL.

Four things all of the ministers present have in common is their love for Jesus, their desire for more of Jesus, a passion to reach lost souls and a hunger to see revival in our land!

One additional thing most of us, if not all, held in common, in the natural, we were all too busy to even consider attending this gathering in light of everything else we had to do.

But, we did attend and after introducing ourselves, we discussed the purpose of the gathering and then we began to pray as the Holy Spirit led.

Inter-mixed between the prayers, God spoke prophetically using various gifts to confirm His call and purpose for the “Unity” Gatherings and what to expect in the future.

As we prayed we could sense a shift taking place in the atmosphere.

At one point a symbolic prophetic act took place as every person stood on their feet, symbolizing the army of God rising up. This was followed by the sounding of the Shofar accompanied by a declaration of war, as the army of God called upon our Leader with a “Unified” shout, “Jesus”!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There was such freedom in the atmosphere. It was such a joy to see the 5-fold ministry gifts working in unity complimenting each other in the body of Christ!

I wish I could find words to express the fullness of this experience, but this is one of those times where words fail to fully describe what happened.

The meeting I just described has “birthed” in the following locations what we now call “Indiana Regional Unity Gatherings!”

For dates, times and exact locations, visit us on our website: www.reallifestoriesbooks.com

Northwest Indiana/Chicagoland Regional Unity Gathering, Chesterton, Indiana

Central Indiana Regional Unity Gathering, Indianapolis, Indiana

LaPorte/St Joseph County Regional Unity Gathering, LaPorte, Indiana

Northeast Indiana Regional Unity Gathering, Angola, Indiana

South Central Indiana Regional Unity Gathering, Corydon, Indiana

Southwest Indiana Regional Unity Gathering, Paragon, Indiana

We believe these 6 Regional Unity Gatherings are the “firstfruits” of 20 or more that will be started in the State of Indiana.

Regional Unity Gatherings are not the planting of a new church.

Regional Unity Gatherings are not the starting of a new denomination.

Regional Unity Gatherings are calling God’s Leaders, across all denominational lines to join hands in unity and take the Gospel message beyond the walls of our buildings, out into our cities to reach and disciple the lost. If you are God’s leader, no matter what your title is (bishop, elder, pastor, priest, apostle, teacher, missionary, sent one, evangelist, prophet, youth pastor, or some other), no matter what part of the body you represent, no matter what denomination, no matter what stream, no matter what flow, God is calling us to join hands and carry His gospel into our cities and regions to reach and disciple the lost.

It is Time the lost people in our cities come to know God, through the love that we demonstrate for one another!! If we will come together and work in unity, God will Command His Blessing towards us! It is Time for the City Wide Church and Regional Church to Arise!

Regional Unity Gatherings Function As A 5-Fold Ministry Where Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors And Teachers Work Together To Equip The Saints To Do The Work Of The Ministry. Regional Unity Gatherings Are Part Of “The Church” With A Call To Come Along Side Other Parts Of “The Church” And Work In Unity With The Whole Body Of Christ To Move The Saints Beyond The Walls Of Our Buildings, Out Into The Community With The Training And Tools They Need To Reach And Disciple The Lost.

To help us fulfill our mission to reach the lost, disciple them and equip the saints we have 2 Free Resource tables in every Regional Unity Gathering.

Evangelism Resource Table: This table is filled with tracts, outreach gospel CDs, and Real Life Stories Christian Testimony Books. The people attending these Regional Unity Gatherings are encouraged to take these Free evangelism tools and use them over the next 30 days to reach the lost and come back with a report or testimony of what God is doing!

Discipleship or Equipping Table: This table is filled with books as well as messages on cds, and dvds. These messages are the best of the best and designed to equip or disciple the saints. Saints need a steady diet of faith-building messages to be equipped and we encourage the saints to take these Free Resources for their personal growth and to then pass them on to help disciple or equip others. Regional Unity Gatherings provide the saints with the tools they need to reach and disciple the lost!

United Community Outreach: In addition to equipping the saints to be effective witnesses and disciples in everyday life, we also want to bring the saints together from all the different parts of the Body of Christ in a City or Region to join hands and do, simple, yet effective outreach projects in the Community to touch lives and reach lost people!

You can see a sampling of these types of outreach projects on our DVD titled “Going beyond the Walls - City Wide Church - How to go beyond the Walls of Our Buildings as One Voice to Reach and Disciple the Lost in Our Cities”.

I Was Happy-Go-Lucky on the Outside

When I was three, my parents split up, very hateful toward each other. My mom, older sister, and I lived in an apartment on welfare, and my mom babysat "under the table" to survive. My dad and older brother lived on a dairy farm five miles out of town, but we hardly ever saw them. Growing up, the kids who didn't know me teased and bullied me 'cuz I didn't have no father. My mom worked long hours "for peanuts," so my sister and I raised ourselves the best we could. When we moved to a house, we had no hot running water, no bathroom toilet or tub, no refrigerator for a long time, no phone or TV, and no car. I always wanted to feel loved and be a part of a family.

So I started carelessly dating. I got a girl pregnant at 16 and we married and had our first child two months after I turned 17. I went to work immediately at my father's farm who smoked and was very sick with cancer. It was a very promising time of my life to be in love with my new wife and to be close with my dad! Too soon, I found myself even praying that he would die and be out of his misery. My older brother took over the farm, so we were out of a job and had to move back in with my mom in town.

The Vietnam War was firing up, and finally seeing my need to get an education, I tried to join the Army when I turned 18. I was a big strong guy, but I was disqualified because I had a wife and

child. Another rejection! It was probably really a blessing because many of my friends who were drafted went and were killed or disable and messed up real bad on drugs and alcohol from the horrible things they experienced, and they were rejected, mocked, and called "baby-killers" after they got back! Sad! A very sick time! We struggled for the next several years, farming and truck driving, moving and three more babies, bills and hard work and no hope in sight. The only thing that had kept me going was feeling the responsibility and commitment to provide for my family, but at 24 years old, struggling to make ends meet, I was at the end of my rope!

I had left New York State defeated, heading to Florida, packing up my family to follow a "successful friend" to find a "successful job" driving tractor-trailer double. It was a continuous breaking down where it seemed nothing was working. The job fell through--NO WORK! The car was in bad shape, little food, a run-down shack for a home. I took what work I could find as a farm-hand. My depression and discouragement increased. I was failing! Even on top of all that, I was happy-go-lucky...on the outside.

One day, a co-worker was moving, so I volunteered to help. Having cold lemonade together afterward, one of the others made a statement about a Protestant friend who died and went to hell! I jumped quickly to defend this person because I was brought up Protestant and thought everybody went to heaven, but I had no Bible knowledge. Soon while in sharp debate, a religiously-dressed lady was walking by and they called out for her to come in. She opened the Bible and as she started to read, something warm like liquid LOVE flowed into my being and knocked me right down to the floor where a vision of the many good things from my whole life flashed before me! When I came to my senses about 45 minutes later, I had been face-down in a puddle of tears and spit and slop from squalling, but now I felt free with the burden lifted off me, like a new person!

The first thing they said was that the Holy Spirit was ON me, but the debate starts, again! I am truly experiencing something internal in my very being. They said, "No it's just ON you" but I know what I'm feeling inside! My joints felt like they were on fire throughout my whole body--like being electrified! What came directly to my mind

was a little red Bible my kids had from Sunday School. So I rudely left the debate and ran full-steam a mile or so back to my house! As I came flying through the door, my startled wife asked what had happened to me, saying there was a glow around me. I had no idea what had happened, but I knew I had to find that little red Bible, and began desperately ransacking the place. I found it and began to study it. I had never really read one before. I realized I had experienced God and was baptized in His Spirit, and was never the same, again! I could hear His voice and sense his direction! I was set free from my old way of thinking! Hallelu Yah!

I was so changed, that the people on the job wanted to know what had happened to me! My cussing had stopped and I would share what God had done for me. After a while, even the boss got upset, warning me that if I kept talking about the Lord, he'd have to let me go. I was just answering their questions but it got me fired as the Lord began to do amazing things to move us, teach us, and use us...even years later, seeing miracles and healings during mission trips in Africa and India! My life of 77 years has been filled with many Christian Testimonies of His great love and works, though in recent years I kind of lost some of that fire. Hearing about these other testimonies helped me write one myself for the first time! It's getting me all fired up again, and I'm "coming out of the closet!"

The importance of our Testimony Books is written in Rev. 12:11 where God says "They overcame (the Accuser/Devil) by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony, and they loved not their lives unto the death." In Mark 5:19, the man who Jesus had cast a legion of demons out was told to go to his friends and tell them the great compassion God had and the great things He had done for him", and "Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwells in Him" (1 John 4:15). So keep telling the wonderful things He has done which preserves His presence and power to overcome in you! Hallelu Yah!

I Was a Workaholic and Raceaholic- Stories Of Hope

I was brought up learning about God in the Catholic religion, as was my grandparents, aunts and uncles who were very strong Catholics. I was sprinkled as an infant and went to Catholic school in the first and second grades. I couldn't conform to it so after this I went to public school. My parents made sure I received my first communion and the confirmation of my faith, but that was about as far as it went. I always knew God was real and anytime I was knocked to my knees, I knew there was a God to pray to. I just didn't want to submit or commit my life to walking with Him at a personal level.

I led a very troubled teen and wild adolescent lifestyle with alcohol, drugs, and smoking in front of my parents at a young age. I was very rebellious, yet a hard worker. I knew how to manipulate people; I just always ran life the way I would have it. I always was searching for the next challenge or high. I started racing cars at a young age, snowmobiles and even boats later on. I did anything for a quick high. I was a spoiled little rich kid. My father was in the boat business and had a very successful business which was volatile with ups and downs of the recreation RV business. I was brought up a very poor steward of resources. We had money that did not help us; it actually caused us issues from being able to buy the alcohol, drugs and racing toys. I led a very fast lifestyle. It never brought me any lasting joy; it only brought a lot of misery and tragedy in my life.

At age 18, a young gal that I was dating was killed in my presence because we were in a place where we shouldn't have been. We were not supposed to be there, and a drunk driver hit us. I had time to pray a lot when I lost her and knew there was a God, but again, I didn't submit and didn't commit to be all in with God. I went through a divorce in my late 30's. I had two sons that were not brought up knowing much Bible truth and I feel very sad that I was not the parent that they needed. I was a workaholic and a raceaholic. I was too busy for them and that's one of the reasons I went through a divorce. I am a truck driver and that's not a good field for marriage because of the separation of being gone all the time. I went through a divorce and bankruptcy. That’s when I really got back to my knees and did a lot of praying at that time, but again, I didn't submit yet.

Yet I knew I needed to make a solid commitment to Jesus - to let Him become Lord over all of my life. I needed to let go of demanding my right to make my own decisions without including Him in my decision making (with the hope of Him blessing those decisions of course). I can remember pulling to the side of the road and praying a sinner's prayer with James Dobson after listening to a Focus on the Family message. After that, I got involved in a church and the very first class they put me in was a finance class; they showed me how I needed to tithe (Honoring the Lord with the first fruits of my income, so He could bless the remaining ninety percent). I had race cars and race boats, but I sure couldn't afford to give ten percent of my income to that church. I had too much money, but God took care of that a short time later, and there again it was a submission issue.

I met my current wife at the age of 40. She was a career woman in the golf course country club business and I was in the boat business. We wanted to have a Christian wedding. She was brought up Reformed. I knew that we had to have God in the midst of our relationship. She never had any children, and wanted to have a child with me. I failed miserably at raising my own two boys because I didn't have the Lord in my life. We knew if we were going to do this, we were going to have to bring our child up in a Christian environment, so we committed to that in our marriage right from the beginning. God blessed us with a church family; a small non-denominational church that really walked with us. I was still a Christian Truck Drivers and in the boating business; my wife was managing the country club at the time when she got pregnant. It was tough for us to go to church but we did, because we were committed to it. Again, we struggled with being involved in church and getting filled so we could be a blessing, but God took care of that. He brought me out of the boating business and into truck driving full-time. My wife's country club actually closed its doors and became a public golf course, so she was out of that business.

Eventually we started looking for a new home church. We were blessed to find a church that taught the balanced Word of God, and taught the absolute importance of having a daily, personal relationship with Jesus Christ, inviting and allowing Him to be LORD of our lives - every DAY - every HOUR of the day. We were baptized at that church about 6 months later; both of us fully immersed and came up out of that water a new spiritual creation -- hungry for Jesus and the Word. We haven’t looked back since. For those yearning to be connected properly to God, there can only be one Truth and one way to God; not multiple. Satan has brainwashed many to believe there are multiple ways ... [as long as true Christianity isn't the ONE you chose!]. Jesus is that only way, truth, and life. He's the only One who paid the penalty for our sins to be totally forgiven, so they won't be held against us on the Judgment Day, so we would not have to pay for them by suffering for eternity in hell like others who reject the free gift of eternal salvation that He offers to everyone. I pray that others would find that same truth and that more would be transformed by the Word and the Holy Spirit setting them free from the sin that separates them from God. God's unconditional love (unconditional acceptance) once we are connected with Christ -- the peace that surpasses all understanding and joy unspeakable He gives us is real. I've found a lot of things that brought temporary and unfulfilling happiness in my life. I've been very blessed and spoiled rotten, but nothing else brings the lasting joy of serving the Lord and seeing others come to know His saving grace. Nothing else brings the satisfaction of pouring your life into helping reach lost souls, and then helping them grow in their relationship with the Lord, because engaging in these activities is what blesses God the most in how we live our lives, and we not only bring HIM joy, but we will reap eternal blessings.

Several years ago God called me to become a chaplain for the Testimony Book of Transport For Christ. Even though it took me a long time to come to Christ, along that journey I had stopped in other trucker chapels over the years when I was trucking. I would pick up a devotional, CD, had some fellowship, or just cried and prayed. It's just a blessing that these Truck Drivers Ministries are out there for truckers that can't get to a home church, or have a hard time finding a church they are comfortable with. God has also called me to network with other truck drivers in distributing Christian literature for truckers to freely have at various truck stops around the nation. Our primary focus is to make free Bibles available for the truckers, but we also place other trustworthy Christian literature in truck stops for them as well.

What are Christians using Real Life Stories Books Saying?

Christian testimony is the description of the journey of someone's life that how he converted to Christianity and how Jesus influence his life. Testimony includes the lesson of life that helps a person to believe in God. It may be a miracle that happens in the life of a person and all of his problems are solved. Testimonies are very influential for new believers and non-believers due to the changing of life after believing Jesus. Christian testimony includes the problems in life and their solution after believing and praying to Jesus.
You should tell your testimony by telling the problems you were facing before meeting Jesus. What was that problems and how much time you fail to solve these problems?

The power team was established in 1970 which consist of some Christian athlete that spread the message of God for salvation. The advanced Evangelism Methods is preaching faiths by traveling in far areas and by a conversation on the internet.
