Hanging with the Wrong Crowd - reallifestoriesbooks.com

I grew up in a Christian home. We went to church every Sunday morning and evening, plus on Wednesday. I lived with my mom in Memphis, Tennessee until I was 15. I accepted Christ at a young age and was baptized around the age of 9 or 10. I believe I was sincere about my decision at the time.

As I got into Middle School, I started hanging with the wrong crowd. I started drinking, smoking, and experimenting with drugs. When my mom found out, she sent me to my dad’s in Wisconsin. I still drank and smoked with my dad’s permission, but I didn’t do drugs.

After High School, I joined the Navy and got married. During this time, I had walked away from God. I got into porn and committed adultery on my first wife. She was doing it to me, so I figured I would do it to her.

After the service, I started Truck Drivers Ministry. I fell further from God. I became addicted to porn and got married to my second wife. I kept drinking and watching porn, which kept me from showing my wife the affection she deserved. It damaged me, and I ended up getting married again before I met my current wife.

In 2010, we went back on the road and came across a Rig CD entitled “Dominoes” by James Payne. That CD lit a fire in our soul. We started searching truck stops for more CD’s. We got the “Free in Christ” CD, which God used to bring me back to him. I believe whole heartedly in media ministries. God is using CD’s to bring people to Him. I still struggle with things, but I now can call on Jesus, and He will give me strength to get through the day.

Friend, you can call on Jesus too! Go ahead and call out to Him right now!

Christian Testimony Book Put on God’s Spiritual Armor Every Day

How can it be that so many people do not know about the benefits of Salvation and how to gain it? How can so many people have heard of Salvation Testimony yet rejected this most valuable gift? Paul reminds us in the Bible verses from Ephesians 6:11-12 that receiving Salvation is opposed by the enemy who is in the world. As a result, you can expect opposition to helping others learn about, appreciate, and accept Salvation. Despite such opposition, you know that God can do anything. When you put on His holy armor to do His will as Ephesians 6 encourages Christians to do, you can resist all opposition! Surveys show that a tiny percentage of Christians have ever helped lead anyone other than a family member into receiving Salvation. That observation suggests that the ways in which most Christians share or  practice their faith outside their families isn’t what God intended if everyone is to be saved. Obviously, then, you need to change what you are doing in sharing your faith and to teach others to do the same. If Witnessing Made Easy: Yes, You Can Make a Difference you don’t, unsaved people will suffer without hope on Earth and their souls will be lost for all eternity. It’s as simple as that. Naturally, you have a direct responsibility to help nurture the lives and souls of your grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles, children, cousins, grandchildren, and other family relations. Keep praying for and encouraging these people to come to the Lord.

However, don’t limit your efforts to just those people, even if there is more work to be done with them. Billions of people are mired in unbelief or belief in false gods; they need your help, as well. Some are friends, neighbors, and acquaintances. Some work next to you as colleagues. Some serve you at the grocery store; others take away your trash. Some will be new acquaintances and play tennis with you today. One reason that God placed you where you are is to help those people around you to come to Him.Many lost people live thousands of miles away and are strangers to you. In the past, just a small percentage of Christians were called to be missionaries in faraway places. With today’s inexpensive mass communications, you can easily reach beyond your family, community, work, shopping, and interests to touch lives on all continents by sending your written Christian Testimony Book through the mail and over the Internet. Your written testimony can help save more souls in other nations than a mid-twentieth-century foreign missionary could ever hope to reach. What a great opportunity God has given you!

God has truly blessed us with this amazing opportunity to share His goodness by helping lost souls wherever they can be found. As a result, your responsibility to share your faith is much greater than in previous generations. Mass communications also make it easy to teach other Christians to do the same. What’s missing for this great opportunity to be fulfilled? All Christians need to gather more courage and overcome any fears and indecision that stand in the way of helping souls to join with the Lord.

In this chapter, we address common fears about witnessing and how to overcome those fears so that you and others you share this book with can know how to become complete, continual witnesses. How many Christians are hobbled by such fears and indecision? Few Christians write their testimonies. Some of that can be due to Put on God’s Spiritual Armor Every Day ignorance, but you can get a sense of the role that fear may play by observing that many people who agree to write their testimonies never do. Opposition from the enemy who is in the world has either paralyzed or neutralized the wills of these believers. After writing a testimony, an even smaller percentage of Christians then continually hand out what they have written. A tinier percentage of Christians who pass out their testimonies also have conversations with lost people about what’s in those testimonies. For each type of witnessing activity, the enemy constructs new doubts and fears to snag, delay, and distract potential witnesses from doing what unsaved people need. Fear is a powerful weapon for the enemy who is in the world to use against Christians to discourage witnessing. Fear can turn an intelligent, caring person into a paralyzed statue so overcome with confusion as to become inactive.

Authorities on fear report that most people while afraid:

• cannot think clearly.

• don’t appreciate when substantial risks are present.

• put off making decisions.

• look for someone else to save them.

• find it difficult to take action after choosing what to do.

• take actions slowly.

• are extra courteous and shy while acting, sometimes to the point of ineffectiveness.

Those who are slightly afraid become less decisive. When fear leads to indecision, concerns about possible negative consequences make it hard for fearful people to pick a direction and act on it.Let’s look more closely at common fears about witnessing and how to overcome them so that you and others you share these lessons with can become complete, continual witnesses.

Usually, truck drivers have no time to attend any church testimony for enhancing their faith so truck ministries provide opportunities to these drivers for gospels and enhance their belief. Truck Drivers Ministry provides all the requirements to the drivers and their families for increasing their trust in Jesus. Every ministry influences a specific community by preaching the faith in Jesus. Truckers ministry guides the truck drivers that don’t have time to attend testimonies for enhancing their faith. Truck ministries provide food and other requirements to the truck drivers and their families. There are more than eight million truck drivers in the US that have less chance of listening to the testimonies and gospels. Truck driver ministry tries to increase their opportunity to listen to the gospel. Truckers’ ministry helps to bring the gospel and reality about Jesus to truck drivers and their relatives on truck stops. Truck ministry needs special assistance.

You Are a New Person - Real Life Stories

The Bible says: “When someone becomes a Christian, he becomes a brand new person inside. He is not the same any more. A new life has begun!” 2 Corinthians 5:17

Say this:

I am a new person. I have a new life, a God centered life.

The Bible says:

Real Life Stories - All these new things are from God, who brought us back to Himself through what Christ Jesus did. And God has given us the privilege of urging everyone to come into His favor and be reconciled to Him.” 2 Corinthians 5:18 “

God bridged the gap of sin between you and Him by Jesus dying on the cross. He now has given you the honor and privilege of telling people how to find that same favor with God through what Jesus has done for them.

The Bible says:

“He died for all so that all who live --- having received eternal life from Him --- might live no longer for themselves, to please themselves, but to spend their lives pleasing Evangelism Training who died and rose again for them.” 2 Corinthians 5:15 .

Jesus died so you could have eternal life with Him in Heaven. Jesus is calling you to now live

My Life Was Never Easy - REAL LIFE STORIES

Finally had enough. She left, taking myself and my three brothers with her. Unfortunately, life wasn't much better after she left him. She was bitter and depressed about having to raise us children by herself. There was never any love or affection shown to us. She blamed us for her miserable life and her drinking. We often had to hear how she had never wanted children in the first place, and this caused us to feel unwanted. My father wasn't much better. He ignored me and only paid attention to my brothers. He would claim I wasn't his child because he “only made boys.” I grew up depressed, feeling unwanted and unloved. All I ever wanted in life was to have true happiness. The reason my mother never showed love was because she didn't know how to show love. Her mother was raised in a residential school from age 5 to 15 years old. These schools were places of physical and sexual abuse, so my grandmother grew up never knowing a parents love. She was raised in a strict, cold environment that no child should ever have to live in. When she finally left the school to start her own life, the damage had already been done. When she had children, she raised them in a strict, unloving home. She was only doing what she had learned from the residential school. A cycle of showing no love and affection had started in my family. I was determined if I had any children, I would show and tell them that they were loved and wanted every day.

Another cycle that continued in the family was sexual abuse. I found out when I was older that my parents and my grandmother had suffered from sexual abuse. I was sexually abused as well. The first time happened when I was just three years old. My mother was in the hospital having my youngest brother. My father's uncle was babysitting me. I remember bits and pieces of the abuse but mostly remember the physical pain. This wasn't the only time I had to endure sexual abuse. On different occasions throughout the years, other family members sexually abused me. I often wondered why this was happening to me. I felt alone with no one to turn to. These episodes of sexual abuse just added to my depression, which seemed to grow and grow as I got older. I grew up not being able to trust anyone. I was angry at the world. I often wished I wasn't born. I thought of suicide on occasion but never went through with it. I didn’t tell my mother until I was 12 years old. Even then, I never received any comfort or support from her. She was too busy wallowing in her own self-pity and alcohol, which added to my unhappiness.

When I turned 16 years old, I moved out to get away from her drinking. I had grown to resent it over the years. I was depressed but hopeful that the future might bring some happiness. I ended up drinking to numb my emotional and mental pain. I was doing the very thing I had despised, and this added to my depression. I ended up quitting high school and going to work to support myself. I started a great paying job at 21 years old. Finally, life seemed to be going good for me. Around the same time, I started the first of three serious relationships I had in my life. I didn't have much luck in my relationships. It seemed like I was always picking partners who had addiction issues, and they didn't want to work. I went through physical and verbal abuse from two out of the three relationships, which brought depression back into my life. I always ended up supporting my family. The only good thing to come from these bad relationships was my three children who I love dearly. Once I had my children, I got my drinking under control. I didn't want them to see their mother as an alcoholic. I tried to make our lives as normal as possible.

After working at the same place for over eighteen years, the company finally closed down. I was without a job. My last relationship was on the verge of ending because my partner didn't want to work. I had enough and kicked him out. His drinking and physical abuse had become worse and worse. I was now alone and raising my children by myself, but I was better off being alone. I sunk into depression again, and my back began to ache like never before. My doctor put me on pain pills, which became the beginning of my new addiction. When the doctor cut me off my prescription, I began buying pills off the street. I also began selling pills to make money. I hid my addiction from my children and tried to keep life as normal as I could. They never had to go without food and were never neglected. I made sure I never sunk that far down. After buying pills for two years, I had enough of living this way and being broke. I decided to go on methadone to get off the pain medication. Little did I know, I was starting a new addiction which would be the hardest to quit. Christian Testimony Books

It was at this time I decided to go back to school and apply to college. I had always dreamed of going back to school someday. I worked hard and got the credits I needed then took the chance and applied to college. To my surprise, I was accepted to the college I had chosen. It seemed as though I was finally having some good luck for a change, but three months before school started I was hit with a mystery illness. I call it a mystery because the doctors couldn't find a cause for my symptoms. I started having migraines, lost hearing in my right ear, and had short term memory loss. I started school and realized I couldn't remember what I was learning. The doctor suggested I leave school until they found out what was wrong. I quit school but was so unhappy. I couldn't work or go to school. What good was I to anyone? I sunk into a deeper depression than ever before. Thoughts of suicide began to surface again, even worse than before. It seemed like whenever my life was going good, things would always take a turn for the worst. I felt like giving up, but I never did because I had my children to take care of. If it weren't for them, I shudder to think what I may have done to myself.

One Sunday morning, I was watching YouTube with my son. He was 7 years old at time. We came across a video that would change our lives. The video was about a young woman who had gone to heaven and hell with Jesus. We watched the whole video, which was over an hour long. At the end, I was so convicted by what I had seen. I looked at my son and said, "I don't want to end up in hell." He agreed with me.

Right at this exact time, a preacher came on the TV, which no one was watching. He was shouting out, "If you want to accept Jesus as your savior, say this prayer." My son and I knelt down on the floor and repeated the prayer. Immediately, I felt a change. I could tell my son did as well. He seemed happier and content. I felt a heaviness come off my heart and felt hopeful. I decided I needed to find a church, and God led me to a spirit filled church which I still attend to this day, five years later.

Since accepting Jesus into my life, God restored the hearing in my right ear, the migraines are gone, and my memory is back on track. For the first time in my life, I feel loved. I feel true happiness. I built a relationship with the Lord, and it gets stronger as time goes on. He has set me free from 31 years of smoking, set me free from alcohol, and set me free from depression. My back has been healed. He has brought love, peace, and joy into my home. I wouldn't trade this for the world. I'm still on the methadone, but He has promised to free me from this as well. Everything is in God's perfect timing. He has healed my broken heart and mended my broken spirit. I grew up hearing from my mother that Jesus isn't for native people. This lie has been told to native people for generations. I now know the truth. He's for every tribe, tongue, and nation. Jesus is for us and not against us. He loves everyone with an everlasting love. He will never leave you or forsake you. When you enter into a relationship with God, your life will never be the same. He accepts you the way you are and doesn't turn anyone away. It doesn't matter what you've done or how bad you think you are. He is merciful and forgiving. Just invite Jesus into your heart, and you will find more happiness and love than you've ever known. You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free!

I hope my story will encourage you to desire a relationship with the Lord, and realize how amazing and wonderful He truly is. He is a loving, forgiving Father, waiting for you with open arms. Come to Him, and find the peace and love that is waiting for you. I'm living proof that His love is real and available to everyone who asks for it. Come as you are, and let the Lord transform your life for the better. He's a God of second chances and new beginnings. I've never been happier than I am now, thanks to the Lord. May this story bless you and encourage you to take the next step to happiness.

Real Life Stories Christian Testimony Books are like Big Tracts on Holy Ghost Steriods

People like Lighthouses and they can relate to the cover.  The Lighthouse is an international symbol of hope!

Floating in the water on the bottom part of the cover we have placed, what we call trigger words.  These words represent things that all people will go through at sometime in their life.  Very often when we hand a person a book their eyes will be drawn to a certain word, and the tears will come opening the door to pray for them.

When offering Real Life Stories Christian Testimonies Books the refusal rate is only about 1 out of 150.

To see why these leaders prefer using Real Life Stories Christian Testimony Books over Tracts, download your free copy of Real Life Stories Christian Testimony Book Edition 7 right now!

What Leaders are sayingabout using Real Life Stories Books

In the year of 2012, God strategically and divinely connected Pure Gospel Ministries with Step by Step Ministries. God ordained a meeting between myself and Jim Barbarossa, better known as The Shofar Man. I thought I was going to this meeting for the sole purpose of purchasing some Tallits, but God the Master planner and strategist had an extraordinary purpose much bigger than either of us knew at the time. Our church was hosting a One New Man conference, and I was led to invite Jim and Carla to attend. They attended the conference, and a divine connection was instantly made between the two ministries.

Jim invited my wife and myself to one of the Unity Gathering meetings that he and Carla were facilitating. During this meeting, we were introduced to a new concept of believers in 5-fold ministries, working together without competition, personal gain, or agendas to evangelize the world. We were introduced to Step by Step Ministries, which was like no other ministry we had ever come in contact with.

Jim exposed us to the Evangelism Ministry that God downloaded to him and Carla. We were told in these meetings that every believer has a testimony that should be written and shared for the glory of God. We were given free Evangelism Tool
such as Real Life Stories Volumes 1 and 2. We were strongly encouraged to pray over and distribute these books as we go about our daily lives.  After attending several meetings, Jim asked my wife and I to write our stories to be included in Real Life Stories Volume 3. I immediately wrote mine, but my wife was reluctant and took a while. My wife hesitated because she didn’t think her testimony was significant. This was a big step for both of us.

I Grew Up in the Carnival Business - Christian Testimonies

Have you ever created memories you wish you could forget? I have. My family was in the carnival business for 17 years. I literally grew up in it. My family traveled all the northern states. I worked seven days a week, 16 hours a day, during the summer months for many of my teenage years. Carnival life is very hard on a family. During the school year, my father would be gone five months out of the year while my mother stayed home with my younger brother and me. There were many challenges with my family relationships. I grew up extremely rebellious and making wrong choices in my life. By age 16, I had become a reckless fool.

One night, my brother and I used our parents’ Mustang car and went drinking and driving with our two friends. I was at the wheel when I took a 90-degree turn on a road while speeding at 90 miles an hour. The car flipped and rolled several times, eventually coming to an eerie stop. One of my friends was pinned under the car and critically injured. I do not recall being thrown out of the car, but I landed about 75 feet away from the accident. I woke up, sitting down, leaning against a fence post. That accident should have killed me, but I walked away from it with very minor scratches. My friend ended up at a hospital fighting for his life. My brother and our other friend survived the crash buckled in the car and were fine. The car was totaled.

The accident did not change me. We, as human beings in our own power, cannot change because it is our inborn nature to do what is evil. Fear gripped my heart at the possibility of having been killed in that accident, but I brushed that thought away. Later, I would understand that if I would have been killed then, I would have gone straight to hell, as God was not part of my life. God, the Father, in His infinite foreknowledge knew that I would come to Him, later on in my life at the age of 19. Although some people’s nature is better or more acceptable than others, we are all sinful in the sight of God and come short of His glory. Our only hope is for Him to redeem us though His plan of salvation for mankind. Christian Testimonies.

During my high school senior year, three female friends relentlessly “hammered away” the gospel of Jesus Christ at me with great love. One night, in the solitude of my bedroom, I was lying down in bed. I was tired and worn out from a guilty conscience of all my wrong doings. I was full of shame, sin, and guilt. I slipped off the bed and got on my knees, knowing I needed Jesus Christ in my life. That night, I asked Jesus to forgive me of my sins. What a special favor poured out into my heart! After a prayer of salvation, I felt clean, whole, light, joyful, and full of hope of a future. For 10 years, I lived and breathed the Word of God. I could not get enough of His Word, the Bible. I would read two to three hours a night. My nature had changed to be Christ-like. My old ways became foreign to me, and I no longer desired sin. The Lord started using me to talk to others about Him and confront them of their lifestyles. I was encouraging them to come to Christ and then leading them to Christ for salvation. What an honor!

At age 21, I decided to quit dating. For a year and half, I prayed for my future wife and asked the Lord to guide me in my prayer. During my prayer times, I knew she would be of Hispanic descent. One month before I met my life mate, I felt the Lord telling me that I would meet my future wife shortly, and I did! A month later, I met her, and I knew she was to be my wife. Without a doubt, I knew the Lord had given her to me because she was everything that I had prayed for. My wife and I have been serving Jesus together since we met. Our home is a Christian home. Our children and grandchildren enjoy the blessings of a wholesome, loving family, and Christ continues to be the vibrant center of our lives.

For over 40 years now, I have lived a wonderful life in the Lord. He has been my guiding light at all times without fail. It is wonderful to have the freedom to read the Word, pray, and tell others about the eternal life and peace that Jesus Christ can offer. Through the years, it has been an honor and a privilege to have been part of other people’s conversion as they come to Christ, with the assurance of a more wholesome and abundant life here on earth and an exhilarating eternal life later. What a great fulfilling and satisfying life!

I would like to share with you how to have peace, a peace that surpasses anything you may be experiencing. If your life seems to have no meaning and no purpose, try Jesus. He will meet you where you are. Jesus knows who you are and the things you have done. I was in a place at one time in my life that was no good. I allowed Jesus to come into my life and take away the guilt, the shame, and the sin. These are three things that will wear you out quickly. What I am saying is the truth. This is my personal experience with my friend, Jesus Christ, who has made Himself more real to me than life itself. He has been so good for me, despite of all life’s hardships, mistakes, and problems that come at us as part of life itself. He is waiting for you to turn to Him for help. Like He says, “I will never leave you or forsake you.” Please turn to Jesus. He will never let you down!

I found myself getting hit in the head with his fist- Real Life Stories

I am the middle child of my siblings. I grew up in Chicago, IL. I had a pretty decent childhood growing up. My mom, who is no longer with me, took me to church at a very early age, which I am so grateful for. I got saved at the age of sixteen. My mom divorced my dad when I was two years old. Even though my dad wasn't present in the home, I still managed to have a close relationship with him. My family says I was my dad's favorite. I often think back to when my dad left our home. It was then that a door of rejection, fear, and the need to be approved by man, was opened in my life.

Years later, I met a man who appeared to be the perfect gentleman. I dated him for a short time, then he asked me to marry him. I remember asking him if he thought we should go to marriage counseling first, and he told me we didn't need to go. He felt like his pastor, who was his uncle, was all the counseling we needed. I remember going to God about the marriage. The response was, “Don't marry him!” God is always right, but I disobeyed. I went through much pain as result of my own disobedience. I became pregnant with a son. During my pregnancy, I had to block blows to my belly, and I found myself getting hit in the head with his fist. Because of my fear to tell anyone, I stayed in the marriage, thinking he would change. It only got worse.

I was later told by neighbors that when I would leave for work, there was another woman who would come to our home. I confronted my ex-husband, thinking he might come clean and tell the truth about the other woman, but he didn't. I found out the truth through broken car windows, which then resulted in verbal altercations and threats of violence. I was so angry at what was happening, I began committing adultery. I could remember calling out to God to help me get out of the mess I had created. Evangelism Tool, It didn’t happen overnight, but gradually my life began to change. One of the noticeable changes I had was being set free from the resentment that I had towards my ex-spouse. I could actually see him without wailing up with anger and bitterness. I was also set free from the need to be accepted by others. I love people, but the unhealthy approval of man went away. I noticed as I would spend more time in my bible, I began to change my thinking about myself. I found myself wanting to hang around other people who also wanted a deeper relationship with Christ.

Not long after, I joined a Christian Testimony Books that is still helping me in my growth process. It may be that you're in a similar situation to the one I found myself in. Maybe you know someone who is currently in an abusive situation. By all means, if it's physical and there could be potential harm done, get some help from your pastor or someone you can confide in. God will never have you feeling condemned about anything you go through in life. You can trust Him with your life. He is the one person who you can count on who will never leave nor forsake you. He accepts all your short comings, and He wants to express His everlasting love toward you. Will you allow Him into your life today? You have nothing to lose but Jesus Christ to Gain!

Real Life Stories Christian Testimony Books are helping  Christians  Overcome the Fear of Sharing Their Faith!

Hi Jim and Carla,
I started passing out
Real Life Stories Christian Testimony books in April 2019. I have given away hundreds of books ,  and have only had three people refuse a book.  One person was honest she had a different belief about who Jesus is. The other two just said no thanks.  Some Christians,  remind me there are different ways to witness.
A few Christians have said they were interested in passing out books.  I tell them your contact information is in the book.

The Mission Continues!!!

I no longer have fear of rejection or concerns about what others think about how I live my faith.
I, Thank the Lord for this Break Through !!

 Thank you Jim and Carla!

Peace and Blessings

What are Christians using Real Life Stories Books Saying?

Before using the Real Life Stories Lighthouse Christian testimony books, I didn't realize how important it was to share my testimony with others. It was just my story.

Since coauthoring and witnessing with these books, my perspective has really changed. I was too shy to talk to people, but little by little I am breaking out of that shell by just leaving books where I am led to leave them or just saying,"Here is a free book for you".
I have even started leaving them with my tips at restaurants and drive-throughs.

I am grateful for this ministry because it allows anyone, even shy people like me, to share the good news.

Real Life Stories Of Hope - I became a full-fledged hippie

My story begins in a small upstate community in New York called "Pulaski." I was born in May of 1954, and things were much different then. My early childhood was difficult and challenging. My father was in the U. S. Army, stationed at what they called Pine Camp. Today, it is known as Fort Drum Military Installation. My mother was from Pulaski, New York.

My parents were divorced after about three years of marriage, so my sister and I lived with my mother and grandparents. At the time, I didn't understand why my mother was so mean and physically abusive to me and my sister. Growing up without a father figure was a major life issue with negative effects for both me and my sister going into adulthood.

I had aspirations as a young teenager to become either an oceanographer or a National Forest Ranger. Neither came about. I was gifted as an athlete, but when I was introduced to drugs and alcohol, my life took a drastic turn. My life became a train wreck. I was married at the age of 19 to a wonderful girl from Watertown, New York. We had three beautiful boys during our 18 years of marriage that ended in divorce. The marriage could have been everything a man would have wanted. That didn't happen because of my downhill spiral into drug addiction, drug dealing, and criminality that brought several incarcerations throughout the years.

I became a full-fledged hippie, buying into the hippie mantra of life consisting of sex, drugs, and Rock n’ Roll. My life became so dark and evil that it affected everything I touched and impacted all the people around me. I became very well-known in upstate New York as one of the major drug dealers, destroying multitudes of lives. Of course, with my disillusioned thinking, I didn’t realize how destructive my lifestyle was to myself and others.

In the midst of all this, I committed adultery with another woman and left my wife and kids so I could shack up with this new sexual interest. Again, I didn’t realize the real damage I was doing to other people and myself. What a mess and train wreck I had become.

By this time I was burned out from drugs and alcohol, mentally and physically. I didn't know that my next pursuit for something different and better in life was going to lead me to a life-changing encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ of Christian Tracts! It is the best thing that has happened in all of my 64 years of life! My relationship with Jesus has been a long and interesting journey for sure. By my experiences in life, I have found out that Jesus is true to His word in everything. He has never left me once in all my struggles since knowing Him, even though there have been times when I have left Him.

After nearly 40 years of drug addiction, He has delivered me completely. After two failed marriages, I am now married to a wonderful Christian woman that loves God and loves me. Thank You, Jesus, for another chance! I have five wonderful sons, 16 grandchildren, and one great-grandson. I am very proud of all of them, and Jesus is helping me to restore my relationship back with all of them.

In the past decade or so, I have become an ordained minister, pastored a church, run studies of Bibles Tracts, traveled to churches preaching, and been involved in jail and prison ministries. I have traveled to Israel and much, much more!

I had to learn as a disobedient and rebellious man that Jesus truly loves me, and I had to accept that truth for my life! Because I have the truth, Jesus has truly set me free. The life I live now is full and rich! It is my pleasure to tell people about Jesus and how, if given the chance,

He will transform and change a person's life. I thank Jesus for saving a wretch like me and loving me through all of my life. He told me, "It is not good enough to know about Me, but I want you to know Me!" This is the life I live now, to know Him and to walk in His love for me! Thank you, my Jesus!!

Christian testimony is the description of the journey of someone's life

Christian testimony is the description of the journey of someone's life that how he converted to Christianity and how Jesus influence his life. Testimony includes the lesson of life that helps a person to believe in God. It may be a miracle that happens in the life of a person and all of his problems are solved. Testimonies are very influential for new believers and non-believers due to the changing of life after believing Jesus. Christian testimony includes the problems in life and their solution after believing and praying to Jesus.

You should tell your testimony by telling the problems you were facing before meeting Jesus. What was that problems and how many time you fail to solve these problems? Then you will tell that how you get closer to Jesus. What is the reason that you decided to consider Jesus for your help? At last, you should share the part of life after meeting Jesus that how Jesus change your life. You should share that how is your living going now. Evangelism Resources is the process of campaigning faith in Christianity. In evangelism, people share the gospel for preaching the impact of Jesus on life. There are a lot of evangelism strategies that include evangelism by spreading the bibles and gospel by media or road evangelism. If you want to preach Christianity then choose the best evangelism methods. Evangelism is the best way to describe your love and affection with god and if you want to be an evangelist then follow these evangelism ideas:

  • If you want to be a good evangelist then pray for others during evangelism because prayer enhances the spiritual attraction. So prayer is the good evangelism tool.
  • If you want to preach your faith then try to share your own experience if the life that how your life changed after meeting Jesus.
  • If you want that other people should start believing Jesus then show them the influence of Jesus in your life and how Jesus solves your problems.
  • If you have good communication skills then it will be very helpful for you to preach your faith. Testimony is a good evangelism tool for preaching the faith.
  • You should share the current situation of your life and how is your life going after knowing Jesus.

In the 20th century, the child evangelism movement was started. The purpose of this movement is the preaching of testimony and gospel to children of 4 to 14 years. The power team was established in 1970 which consist of some Christian athlete that spread the message of God for salvation. The advanced evangelism method is preaching faiths by traveling in far areas and by a conversation on the internet.

Standing on the Fence - Real Life Stories

I was standing on a fence, and there was an incredibly large group of people assembled around it.

On one side of the group stood a man, Jesus. On the other side of the group stood another man, Satan. Separating them, running through the group, was the fence I was standing on.

Both Jesus and Satan began calling to the people in the group and, one by one, each having made up his or her mind, each went to either Jesus or Satan.

This kept going on, and eventually Jesus had gathered around him a group of people from the larger crowds, as did Satan. But I joined neither group. I stood on the fence. Then Jesus and his people left and disappeared. So too did Satan and his people.

And I was left alone, standing on the fence.

As I stood there, Satan came back. He appeared to be looking for something that he’d lost. I said, “Have you lost something?”

Satan looked straight at me and replied, “No, there you are. Come with me.”

“But,” I said, “I stood on the fence. I chose neither you nor Him.” “That’s okay,” said Satan. “I own the fence. You belong to me.”

Using Real Life Stories Christian Testimony books and testimonies has  taken our witnessing to the next level. Instead of giving people just a track we are now able to give them a whole Real Life Stories Christian Testimony book to read.

Ask God to forgive you - Salvation Testimonies

How do I get saved from the curse of the law? How do I get saved from being forever separated from God? How do I get saved from the Fires of Hell?

1. Admit that you have broken God’s Law.

2. Ask God to forgive you.

3. Confess Jesus as the Son of God.

4. Confess that Jesus died on the cross for your sins.

5. Confess that Jesus arose from the dead.

The Bible says:

“For Salvation Testimony that comes from trusting Christ --- which is what we preach --- is already within easy reach of each of us; in fact, it is as near as our own hearts and mouths. For if you tell others with your own mouth that Jesus Christ is your Lord, and believe in your own heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in his heart that a man becomes right with God; and with his mouth he tells others of his faith, confirming his salvation. For the Scriptures tell us that no one who believes in Christ will ever be disappointed. Jew and Gentile are the same in this respect; they all have the same Lord who generously gives his riches to all those who ask him for them. Anyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Try to describe your testimony as much as short and as simple as possible. Always focus on life after knowing Jesus and less describe life before Jesus. Christian testimonies include the facts that what problems were you facing before Christ and how is your life going now, after meeting Jesus. Salvation testimonies are very inspiring for others that don’t believe in Jesus that how Jesus rescues someone in life. Hearing Christian testimonies increase the faith in Jesus and also inspire person that don’t aware of Jesus. Hearing testimony is the start of knowledge about Christianity. You can ask a question to the speaker how Jesus change his life and how he converts to Christianity. Salvation testimonies are very informative and help to increase knowledge about Jesus. If you want to know about Jesus more and how Jesus changes lives you have to listen to Christian testimonies. Listening to Christian testimonies is better than reading for understanding the impact of Jesus.  How Jesus rescues someone from any difficulty and changes his life is all described in salvation testimonies for the preaching of Christianity.

I Went to Truck Drivers Ministries School

I met my wife Joyce in early 1964 at Broadway Assembly church in Lorain, OH. My family moved to Lorain from West Virginia when I was 12 in 1962. When I was 13, my cousin Wesley invited me to church. There was a revival going on the night I got saved. I felt so free and clean, I went to every service. Most of the time I had to hitchhike because my Mom and Dad never followed Jesus. When I was living in West Virginia I used to go with my Grandmother, but I was too young to understand. But I know her prayers followed me even after her death.

Joyce and I fell madly in love at the young age of 13 and 14. As too many teenagers do, we let the hormones and testosterone take over our lives. She got pregnant, so at age 17 we were married. Now that little bit pregnant goes by the name of Jeff and he is 6’2”. We drifted away from church. A year later we had our second son, Brian. I was laid off from Ford Motor company in late 1979. In February 1980, I went to North American Van Lines truck driving school and purchased a truck through them. I was gone 4–6 weeks at a time. As you can guess, that doesn’t make for a strong marriage. After fifteen years of marriage and being away from God we ended up divorced. We were both at fault here, not just by the poor decisions we made, but because we had turned our backs on God, and Satan just had his way with us. I remarried in 1983 and she remarried in 1985. I sold my truck and got off the road and moved to Tennessee in the fall of 1984.

My second wife was complaining about me being gone so much. I had lost the love of my life over driving; I didn’t want another divorce. Well in the winter of 1987, I ended up divorced anyhow. You see when you don’t follow God, Satan has a field day with you.

In September of 1988, I went up to Ohio to see my sons and my Dad. Brian and his then girlfriend (his wife now, Maria) was about to have a baby and I wanted to buy them a gift for the baby. Brian had moved, and I didn’t have his new phone number. I called Joyce and asked for his new number and also asked her what they may need. She said they needed a car seat and that she could get me a discount at Sears where she worked. I met her the next day and bought them the car seat. We then went to lunch in the mall. She could tell I was very unhappy and sad because of the way my life had turned out. She started to cry and said I was too good a man for all this bad to be happening to. We then left the restaurant; while walking thru the mall, I asked her if she had to return to work. She said no, so I asked her if she wanted to go for a drive.

She said I will follow you anywhere; I said even to Tennessee? She said YES!! I asked her what her husband would think about that? She said he wouldn’t be too happy, but he knows how she still felt about me. I really believe we were meant to be together, but because we forged ahead and got out of God’s plan for us, it all fell apart.

She moved to Tennessee in November of 1988. She was able to transfer to a Sears near our home. In Jan 1988, I began working for Builders Transport in LaVergne, TN as a dispatcher. The terminal manager that interviewed me asked me if I had ever dispatched before. I said no, but I have been dispatched. He asked me if I knew how to work a computer and I said no but I have hauled a bunch of them. Bless his heart he hired me anyway. In the fall of that year they opened a flatbed office at this terminal. I became the terminal manager of this fleet. I remained the manager until Spring of 1998 at which time I left them because they were going out of business.

I went to work for Deaton Truck Lines as a recruiter working out of my home. It was a real sweet deal until the VP that hired me left 2 months later. That’s when my eyes were opened, and I could see I was on another sinking ship. In July of 1998, I was asked to come to Cuba, Alabama for an interview with McElroy Truck Lines. They were going to open a terminal in middle Tennessee and was looking for a terminal manager. Going to work for MTL was one of the best moves of my life. I worked there 17 years, retiring in August 2015.

Keep in mind the only time Joyce and I had ever darkened the door of a church was when we were married in 1989. We bought a new home in 1989, owned a boat, car and pick-up truck. We were debt free in 1998 and had all we needed. In early June 2007, I came home from work one day and planted my keister in my chair. Joyce said we need to talk; man, I hate them grown up talks. We had all we needed but I could tell she wasn’t really truly happy. She said she had been watching the 700 club and had turned her life back over to Christian Testimony Book.

I don’t have the words to explain to you how that made me feel. I was relieved in some way to know she would be serving God again. You see I had always blamed myself for our failures especially with God. Then she said I can’t do this alone. I told her I was happy for her, but I wasn’t ready for that. I told her I was happy and that I had all I needed. That’s when she said I know you’re not ready and you have almost all you need, but there is one thing missing in your life. I said, What’s that? She said JOY.

For the first time in forty years the Holy Spirit of God spoke to me. You see when I was seventeen, I told God I would never ask Him for anything. I felt like I wasn’t’ worthy of His grace or His mercy. After all I had been through, I never once cried out to Him. But suddenly He started talking to me. He loved on me for three solid months. We started attending River of Life Church in Smyrna, TN. I would go on Sunday mornings with my wife. Sometimes the music would make me cry, but when the altar call came I headed for the door. I wasn’t going to get saved for my wife and I wasn’t ready.

Again, the Holy Spirit talked to me daily, almost hourly; He wouldn’t let up. Every time I gave Him an excuse why I couldn’t serve Him, He gave me a reason why I could. After three months of this, I was losing my mind. My wife was going to the Ladies’ Monday morning prayer meetings lifting me up in prayer.

September 17th, we went to the morning service; I bolted out the door during the altar call. Late that afternoon my wife and I were sitting on the patio. I told her my biggest regret in my life was that I didn’t raise our sons in church. She said you’re still their Daddy and you’re still alive; it’s not too late.

I said let’s go to church tonight. I can’t remember what the preacher preached on that night, but I hit that altar at the end of the service. I cried out to Jesus and asked Him to forgive me!! I was SNOTT SLINGING SAVED!! God came down and LOVED ON ME, He set me free from alcohol, nicotine and porn. I was free and free at last. When I stood up, the Monday Morning Ladies’ prayer group was standing there over us the whole time we were at the altar.

Long story short, in 2012 I started a Chaplaincy program called Channel 21 Ministries for truck drivers. We have helped over 150 Truck Drivers Ministries become a Road Chaplain. We have had over one hundred folks saved through this program. God has been so faithful. I received my minister’s license in 2011 and I am currently Care Pastor at River of Life, Founder and Senior Chaplain for Channel 21 Ministries. God has been so good to Joyce and me. We have seen miracle after miracle occur in the past 11 years.

I pray that God will reveal Himself to you if you are not walking with Him. He is a loving God and it is never too late to come home. I was 57 years old and He saved my soul!!! You can call me anytime!

Door to door evangelism ideas is one of these methods to preach gospel

Evangelism is very important for preaching gospel and there are different ways of evangelism. Door to door evangelism ideas is one of these methods to preach gospel. In door to door evangelism, an evangelist visits door to door in certain areas and preaches and distributes gospel tracts among residents. This idea is considered as the best approach because it will provide gospel tracts to all the residents that are unable to go to the church. The first door to door evangelism idea was used in 1912 to 1917 where evangelists visit more than 10.3 million homes.

Evangelism outreach idea is the preaching of faith by providing salvation tracts outside the church. Outreach evangelism increases the probability of people to attend evangelism. Those people that are not able to go to church or live far away from the church can take benefit from outreach evangelism idea. Door to door evangelism idea and outreach idea are the best for preaching faith to the people living far away from the churches.

Gospel tracts and salvation tracts are the orders and promises of god. Evangelist uses these tracts for inspiring others and increasing their faith and belief. Salvation tracts will totally change the life of person and make them feel like a newly born baby. Many people describe their real life stories that contain salvation testimonies for inspiring and motivating others to believe on god. Real life stories are very motivating and inspiring because these describe the impact of Jesus on the life of person. We offer a lot of real life stories on our websites which are very inspiring and motivating to start believing on Jesus. Evangelists use real life stories in their testimonies for inspiring others. Real life stories describe that how a person was faxing difficulties in life and how Jesus solve his difficulties. Prison ministry ideas, door to door evangelism ideas, evangelism outreach ideas and many others ideas are helpful for inspiring and motivating others. You will attract others to start believing on god by describe your story. You can start your real life story from the part of life before believing god. You can describe the difficulties in your first part and then you have to describe the later part of your life. You have to describe in detail that how Jesus solve your difficulties and make your life easy. You can search for real life stories on our website (www.reallifestoriesbooks.com).
