If you want to get salvation then read testimony books

When a person converts to Christianity then he will have to tell others that what the reason behind his converting to Christianity is. These real-life stories are known as testimonies. Testimony helps attract others and also improve the faith. Many people convert to Christianity after reading Christian testimonies because these testimonies describe the power of Jesus. A person after reading Christian testimonies will understand that everything that happens in this world is on the order of Jesus and only Jesus can solve the difficulties of everyone. Most people prepare their testimony for evangelism where many new believers are gathered and after hearing these testimonies their belief will increase. Many people describe the part of life that when they start following the right path and get salvation these testimonies are known as salvation testimonies. Salvation testimony attracts new disciples to always follow the god orders because a person only gets salvation by following the right path.

If you want to get salvation then read testimony books that contain salvation testimonies for increasing your faith and discipleship of god. You only get salvation after believing that you can’t do anything without the order of god. Testimony telling is not difficult because you just have to share the real story of your life with others. You have to first describe your problems and failures before believing in Jesus and then you have to describe in detail how Jesus help you to sort out your difficulties. Difficulties in life are the ways you tried to solve these difficulties are not described in detail because you want to highlight the importance of Jesus by detailing the ways how Jesus change your life.

More than 8 million people drive trucks in the US and many of them are Christians. These Christian truck drives are very busy in their life and have no time to attend any evangelism or testimony. So truck driver ministries are established for increasing the faith of Christian truck drivers by arranging evangelism meetings on truck stops and providing food to truck drivers. This will increase the faith of Christian truck drivers. If you want to read testimony books for improving your belief then you can easily search for these books on our website. We have a lot of Christian testimonies including salvation testimonies.

Truck driver ministry is trying their best to attract Christian truck drivers by providing testimony books and preaching gospels at truck stops and providing foods and clothes to truckers for making their belief strong.

I Just Wanted to Feel Accepted the truth of life

I grew up in a small town in Pennsylvania. I can always remember being in church. In fact, at age 13, I was saved at church. I liked going to church. I always felt it was the right thing to do. I also liked feeling accepted and being part of a group. I had a “good girl” image, and I wanted to live up to that. Being a “good girl” meant going to church. The world also had some things to offer. If cigarettes meant being popular, I tried cigarettes. If drinking could get me accepted, I tried drinking. There was always that fear of letting someone down. That, someone, was first of all God, then my family.

Testimony Books
My father worked in a car factory, and my mother was a housewife. I had an older sister and a younger brother. My father was very strict, so I definitely did not want to get caught doing anything wrong. I had an aunt who lived in another town about 12 miles away. My sister and I used to love to stay at her house. My aunt and uncle would let us stay a couple of weeks in the summer or sometimes, the whole summer. They would spoil us, and we loved it. The summer I turned 13, I was staying at my aunt’s when I met Jim. We liked each other and hung out together over the summer. When school started back up, we broke it off. Two years later, Jim called to invite me to a post-prom picnic. I went, and we started dating. Dating was difficult because we went to different schools. We saw each other on weekends and when there was no school. Then we made a big mistake. We became sexually active. I remember at first I didn’t want to do it. I was so mad at myself when I gave in. I knew I couldn’t take it back. We had to sneak around to be together because once we started, we couldn’t stop. In 1972, I was 15 years old. My dad had been diagnosed with cancer. On September 23, 1972, my father died of cancer at the age of 41. Jim and I continued to date, and a year later we got engaged. Jim was two years older than I, and in 1973 he graduated from high school. He was enrolled at a computer school in Pittsburgh. He had relatives who lived in Indiana who worked at the Steel Mills. They raved about how much money they were making. So, Jim decided to go to Indiana for the summer and make some money. Once he got to Indiana, he liked it and decided to stay. After he was out there for a while, he got homesick and wanted us to get married sooner. I only had one year of high school left, and I wanted to. He asked me to marry him, saying I could finish school in Indiana. I was scared. I didn’t know what to do. I gave in and said, “Yes.”

Christian Testimonies
Over the next year, I went through many emotions about marrying Jim because I was saved and he was not. I knew I had been pretty wishy-washy about being a Christian, but I still was concerned about marrying a non-believer. Jim found a church in Indiana that would marry us. That was hard, not only because I was saved and he was not, but also because we came from two different faiths. We were married on June 22, 1974. Before we got married, I told myself that I would pray and believe and that in a short while Jim would be saved. That short while turned into a long 19 years! A couple of years after we got married, I got serious about being a Christian. I still wanted to be that good girl and do the right things. I am glad that I never got addicted to alcohol or cigarettes. I would smoke and drink on and off to try to fit in, but I always felt guilty. Eventually, with the help of God, I quit smoking and drinking and never went back to it. Jim, on the other hand, was a drinker and a smoker. He went out with his friends a lot. Sometimes, he wouldn’t come home until 4 or 5 in the morning. We started a family after we were married 7 months. I did go to school here in Indiana, and I graduated. I became focused on our children and continued praying for Jim to get saved. Jim and I had four children - one daughter and three sons. I raised them in church. Jim never kept us from going to church. I praise God for that. At times it was hard because I didn’t think he would ever get saved. I remember once in 1980, he went out drinking and didn’t come home for two days. After that, he quit drinking and smoking. It was amazing, but he still didn’t get saved. The church I was attending started standing and agreeing with me for Jim to be saved. There were times when I would get on his case about being saved, and I knew I was just pushing him away. I tried to reach him by my lifestyle - Testimony Books. I did that by being the kind of wife and mother that God wanted me to be. That helped me to see that I didn’t need to seek man’s approval anymore. I only needed to have God’s approval. Finally, on March 21, 1993, Jim was saved. Praise God. I do praise God for saving my husband, and for getting me on track.

The hardest part of the story is that I committed all of these sins after I was saved. That bothers me so much, especially the premarital sex. I did repent, and I know I was forgiven because I John 1:9 says “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” I kept feeling guilty until I allowed Jesus to completely set me free. I was forgiven, but Satan tried to convince me that I wasn’t. Satan is a liar. Two years after we were married, I was baptized in the Holy Spirit and it felt like God opened up my head and poured love through me. That really ushered me to a place of wanting to be set apart for God. It was a continuous process that brought me to where I am today. Life is full and complete with Jesus as my Savior. I do not want to live without Him. It is only because of Him that I am where I am. He is my everything. I love You, Jesus. I thank You, Jesus. I praise You, Jesus, for your Christian Testimonies to have heaven.

Stories Of Hope “I Had a 1% Chance to Live”

Stories Of Hope - I was saved September 6, 1986 in the car with my mother. At the age of six I was concerned that sometimes I was and wasn’t a Christian so we prayed and I asked Jesus to forgive me of my sins and come into my heart. I had always gone to bible camps and churches growing up and was very fortunate to be saved as a little boy.

I was still a little boy and was in the back of my Dad’s machine pump shop, I was playing with an electric hoist when it swung over and caught a 1000 lb. I beam and flipped it over on me. Anyway it broke my leg and foot! When I got out of the hospital and was in my teens now and received chiropractic adjustments at least once a week and had to have lifts in my shoes...they said my legs were about an inch difference. About in 2016 my Mom and I went to a conference and a man came walking over to me and the Lord told him I needed healing, so he prayed for my legs and you could see them grow the same length, Praise God! He’s an awesome God, Jesus I praise You.

I was about 14 when Mom and I took an 18 foot in diameter tepee to a rendezvous where I could throw tomahawks and knives and shoot black powder guns. When we set the tepee up we had a fire in the middle of the teepee and did not set the flaps correctly for the wind so the smoke would go out fine. That night Mom said she heard something like a moose. But it was me having a seizure. The smoke inside got too thick and I got carbon monoxide poisoning.

So let’s fast forward a little, I was living in Great Bend Kansas and was living a very materialistic life style and didn’t think I really needed God. And boy did He get my attention then. And this is how God miraculously changed my life. My wife and I were living in Great Bend Kansas. It was Jan. 4th of 2003 when the major turning point in my life occurred. My new bride of five months, Sarah, wanted a ride on my friends 4 wheeler. So there we went and hit a jump wrong because the grass was overgrown and Sarah and I were thrown. Sarah suffered minor scrapes and bruises. I received a severe brain injury and was airlifted to Wichita with a 1% chance to live.

I was in a coma for several weeks and was transferred to Madonna Rehab in Lincoln Nebraska in the hospital for five months. It was in the spring of 2003 when I woke up and began learning how to walk, talk and eat again. We were there till July of 2003 and Sarah and I moved back to Kansas. I went through rehabilitation therapy for several months and was waiting to get disability, so I was not able to go back to work. June 10th of 2004 Sarah told me she was tired of the whole situation and wanted a divorce…I still hadn’t recovered from the accident and did not do so well living on my own.

After the brain injury I bought an older truck I had which was leaking brake fluid. I was going to pull someone out of the lake. I had to stop and there was not enough brake fluid and the brakes gave out. My elbow was hanging out of the window and since I could not stop, I went through a barb wire fence. Part of the barbwire broke as I went through and cut my elbow. I received about 22 stitches. I lost so much blood I had a seizure and went unconscious - the police thought because I had a seizure the accident happened...little did they know it was the brake fluid! I just let them take my license.

Some not so good things happened and eventually I came to live with my Mother and step Dad. I lost my wife, job, house, and trucks, just to name a few things that really mattered to me. I knew that material things of this world are not going to matter in eternity so I needed to be laying up my treasures in Heaven and focusing on the Lord. Christian Testimony Book gives immense knowledge about  right path of life.

To finish up, this is the most recent thing that happened. It was a combination of me not doing well with my meds and my diet, and other things. I was in my shop, and I thought I had to die for all the sins I committed. I was being deceived, even though I knew in my right mind that Jesus paid for everybody’s sins at the cross including mine. I cried out for grace and mercy before I cut my arms and throat in several places. The blood came out very slow. I didn’t really want to die but thought in order for us all to get to heaven I had to. Looking back, I know it was not my appointed time to go. I realize now that God is in control of when we die. That it was Jesus Christ that paid the penalty of death for all the sins I did and that He was the Lamb that took away the sins of the whole world. I went to Learned State Hospital for a few weeks then came home.

God has me doing many different outreaches and things to serve Him. The LORD has gone before me and blessed me with the perfect living situations and job to do His work; I am amazed at how He works. I am thankful for the body of Christ and all the ways we can serve the LORD and grow. John 3:16-18, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

2 Corinthians 12:9 says, And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. I know that after all I have been through that the LORD God is good!

To God be the glory! God has created us for His Glory. Matthew 5:16, “Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Jesus (God) has given me many different gifts, like a blessed memory to sing to Him, quote verses, save souls. He is a good God. Thank You and God bless. Please consider having the LORD Jesus Christ as LORD of YOUR LIFE.

I Had a “Feeling”: REAL LIFE STORIES

I was born and raised Catholic in Devil’s Lake, North Dakota. I thought I was Saved because I did everything a Catholic does. I was baptized as a newborn baby, confirmed, and had my first Holy Communion as a very young child.

I joined the Navy in 1974 right out of high school. I turned 18 in the Western Pacific on a Destroyer and served in Vietnam. When I returned home in 1977, I joined the National Guard. I got my Truck Drivers Ministry license and started trucking regionally in the summer. I used the GI Bill to go to college but mostly just drank and partied in my fraternity. I quit before graduating but learned to fly private planes at UND and rejoined the Navy in 1980 to serve on Aircraft Carriers.

When I got out the second time, I stayed in California for a few years before moving to Minneapolis, Minnesota. I had several different jobs over the next couple of decades and still believed I was saved because I was a Catholic.

I was in many relationships with many different types of women, but I couldn’t commit to anyone. I started doing drugs, and my preferred choice was crack cocaine. I straightened out enough to get my CDL, pass a drug test, and got back into trucking in 2005. I had several driving jobs and continued to smoke crack. It was very challenging to drive under the influence, but I did it for 13 years with about 8 different companies. I never got caught, and was able to get by the drug tests. It was only by The Grace of God that I didn’t kill myself or anyone else as I drove 80,000 pounds high on crack cocaine.

On Sunday May 4th, 2008 I felt compelled to attend a Chapel Service at Faith on the Move Ministries at the Petro truck stop in West Memphis, Arkansas. I had a “feeling” that God was about to allow something bad to happen to me if I kept driving a semi under the influence of crack cocaine. After the 8am service, I was invited to stay for the 11am service. I didn’t have to pick up my load across the Mississippi River in Memphis until 2pm that Sunday afternoon, so I stayed. At the end of the 11am service everyone got up to leave, but I felt glued to my chair and didn’t know why. I later realized that I was being convicted by God’s Holy Spirit to not leave yet.

Chaplain Gaylon came back into the Chapel and sat down next to me. We were the only two there. He asked me what was on my mind, and all I said was “sin.” He gave me his testimony, prayed over me, and led me to Christ that morning; right there in that little truck stop chapel. He gave me a Bible and told me that I was now saved. I was somewhat confused because I thought I already was saved. I was born and raised Catholic. He explained that I now have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ because I accepted Him as my Savior and made Him Lord of my life. I was going to spend eternity with Jesus in Heaven.

I got back into my truck and knew something incredible had just happened to me. I knew I couldn’t do drugs anymore or invite women into my truck for sex. I went over to Memphis and got my load that Sunday afternoon. As I was leaving the customer’s gate, there were a few women in the parking lot across the street. They were calling to me to come over to them. I knew I could buy drugs and have the services of a prostitute, but the change in me was so real that I just waved to them and kept on going. If I had not gone to Church that morning and been saved by Jesus Christ, I know I would have stopped for those women. Now, I pray for them and their families when they approach me in truck stop parking lots. Most leave abruptly, but some listen to my testimony and the seed is planted.

The next day, I made my delivery up in Champagne, Illinois. I went to a Walmart, where I bought a cross on a chain and put it around my neck. I knew I was saved, and there was absolutely no confusion anymore. I never take it off and wear it on the outside of my shirt as a sign of who I am and Whose I am. I belong to Jesus Christ, and there is no doubt about it. I never did drugs again. I joined a local church (not Catholic) in Minneapolis and was baptized in July of that same year.

9 months later, in February of 2009, I attended a truck stop chapel service in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. While there I met Johnny, another brother in Christ, and afterwards we went into the restaurant for coffee and Bible study. All the other drivers from the chapel had to go on their way with their loads or to sleep before driving again. Johnny and I had a great time of fellowship and became close friends. He was an owner operator, and I was a company driver at the time. We talked on the phone almost every day, prayed together, and thanked God for introducing us to each other. We met because of the worship service and our love for Christ.

About three months later in May of 2009, I had to quit my over the road job and return to Minneapolis to help care for a sick aunt. I got a call from Johnny, and he brought up the possibility of me becoming an owner operator. I was overwhelmed and told him I was a company driver and couldn’t possibly go out on my own. He told me that he was looking to buy a new truck and that every time he prayed about what to do with his old truck, my name came up. He told me, “God wants you to be an owner operator.”

I was too scared and told him, “No, thank you.” That didn’t stop Johnny from talking about it though because he truly believed that he was obeying God.

Soon thereafter in June 2009, I met Dan, another brother in Christ, at my home church in Minneapolis. He owns five trucks and hired me to drive regional flatbed. I was thankful to be able to be home two or three times a week for my aunt. Since I was to be home so often, he put me in an older Freightliner cabover that was clean and well maintained. I learned how to take care of it with Dan’s help over the next year and really appreciated his mentoring.

Johnny and I continued to talk on the phone almost every day as I drove flatbed. He kept bringing up the possibility of me becoming an owner operator. He and his wife ran as a team and had bought his Kenworth new in 2005. He had already rebuilt the CAT motor at just over a million miles, and the truck was in way too good of shape for him to just trade it in. He kept telling me that God wants me to be an owner operator because of his constant prayers about what to do with his old truck. We would go over the numbers as we talked on the phone, and he even offered to finance the truck for me.

During that same year, my aunt recovered from her illness and Johnny found his perfect new Truckers Ministry . He had spent the whole year looking while teaching me how to own and operate a truck. I took the bus from Minneapolis to Joplin, Missouri to pick up the truck. I leased on with a company in July of 2010, and I’m still leased on with that same company today. By the grace of God, I was able to pay Johnny for the truck completely in just 7 months from the time I left his driveway. During that time, I still had plenty of revenue from the truck to keep it well maintained and running efficiently. I even bought an auxiliary power unit to run a separate heater and air conditioner so I wouldn’t have to idle the big motor and waste fuel. I found a very nice lighted cross at a truck stop in Georgia and wired it into the grill of the truck.

In May of 2011, three years after accepting Christ, I became a “Driver Chaplain” with Faith on the Move Ministries to hold worship services at truck stops that don’t have designated chapels and chaplains. I am so thankful for what Jesus has done in my life that I witness to everyone who will listen on CB radio and at truck stops or anywhere at all.

I consider this to be God’s truck, and He pays me to drive it. As of December, 2018 the truck has over 2.3 million miles on it with just the one rebuild Johnny did years ago. Over one million of these miles were put on by me running coast to coast. The transmission and both rear end gear boxes are stock, and only the fluids have been changed. The injectors are original and have never been changed. Usually a million miles is a lot for a set of injectors, and Caterpillar and

Kenworth are both amazed by their longevity. I tell everyone that this is God’s truck, and it will continue to earn a living for me as long as He.

REAL LIFE STORIES – “I was All Conference, All State, All American”

I was raised in what many would consider to be a typical family environment. My dad was a steel worker and my mom was a homemaker. My dad was a very worldly person, but a very successful one. He was constantly chasing after the things of the world like cars, trucks, snow mobiles, campers, vacations, and other things that money could buy. My mom was a very devout bible reading praying Christian Books that had the responsibility of taking me and my 3 siblings to church.

At a very young age I was exposed to a few boys molesting each other. They lived just down the road from my house. They tried to pressure me into doing what they were doing, but I was scared and confused. So instead of giving in I ran away and told my parents what happened. Even though I said NO and ran away it was still a very traumatic experience for me and could very well have been the start of my biggest enemy, LUST OF THE FLESH!!

When I was in elementary school I was at a friend’s house and I accidently came across adult magazines and videos. I briefly looked through them and then went on my way. I never told anyone what I saw and thought it was innocent and that it was no big deal. As I was getting older I remember being up late watching TV on many different occasions and seeing phone numbers for phone sex flash across the

screen. That was pretty intense and eye opening for me. I remember calling the phone numbers that I saw more times than I can count. The lust of the flesh and sexual sin started to get a hold of me.

So now I was into my teenage years and I discovered girls for the first time. In other words I started to show an interest in them. I would look at girls in a very selfish and lustful way. I remembered for quite some time what I saw in those magazines, videos, and phone sex line commercials. I could not get rid of all those images. I wanted to do many inappropriate things with girls based on what I saw in those magazines and videos. I had sex for the first time when I was in high school. At the time I thought sex was the best thing ever. Little did I know that was it was the beginning of something I couldn’t control. It was like a runaway freight train. It was all about sex, magazines, videos, phone sex lines over and over and over again. It was bad and out of control. The lust of the flesh and sexual sin had a massive hold on me.

While all this was going on I still had a life and still wanted to keep my lusting and sexual sin a secret. My siblings and I were always involved in sports. My brothers and I loved baseball. It was always about baseball. We lived and died baseball. We even had a baseball field in our back yard. I was a very strong left handed power hitting first basemen and pitcher. I had a very promising baseball career leading up to my senior year in high school. I was All Conference, All State, and an All American baseball player my senior year. I was drafted by the San Diego Padres organization my senior year. From there I went to play baseball at college for 1 year where I had more and more success.

With all the success and popularity I dived into more sexual sin chasing after the lust of the flesh. I thought because of my popularity nothing could touch me. So now it was about girls and baseball. I even decided to start drinking to make myself more popular so I thought. This lifestyle was all going on while falling further and further into sexual sin. I knew it was wrong but never knew what to do or how to truly come to terms with it. From college I went into the minor leagues to start living my dream of playing major league baseball one day. Just 2 months into my career with the San Diego Padres organization I blew out my pitching arm and that ended my career and life as I wanted it to be.

During this time I got married, but not even marriage could stop my desire for sexual sin. Marriage could not and would not cure or free me from the sexual sin and the constant lusting. I struggled for a while with not being able to play baseball and even a few times tried to make a comeback, but nothing ever came of it. I worked a few jobs that I never liked. I was really stressed out with trying to provide for my wife all while being depressed from not playing baseball any longer along with chasing sexual sin.

After not getting anywhere working at a few dead end jobs I decided to go into business for myself. I started a lawn care, landscaping, and snow removal business that prospered almost instantly giving me way too much free time and giving me more opportunities to dive into all kinds of sin especially sexual sin. Meanwhile my wife and I had hopes of having children and starting a family. We struggled at first to get pregnant and then after 8 months my wife finally did get pregnant. Unfortunately, early on in the pregnancy my wife miscarried.

It was at this point my wife and I saw a fertility specialist because we were unable to get pregnant after a year of trying. Then we quickly found out that according to the doctors that getting pregnant was never going happen. So because of that I poured myself into my business and more lusting and sexual sin. A few years after the doctors told us we couldn’t have kids we decided to adopt 2 children internationally. I remember thinking that this journey of adopting kids and having kids would cure my lust and desire for sexual sin, but I was wrong. After bringing our 2 children home from the other side of the world almost immediately my lusting and inappropriate sexual sin skyrocketed. I was out of control as I did my best to keep it hidden from family, friends, and clients.

Just a few years after adopting my wife miraculously got pregnant. Then after that pregnancy she got pregnant 3 more times. It was wonderful and inspiring to see our many prayers answered. I was so happy for her and for us, but all those miracles, blessings, and answered prayer didn’t keep me from diving deeper and deeper into

more lusting and sexual sin. At this point even though on the surface my business was great, had a wonderful family, and many other things I knew if I died I would go to hell. I knew I would be lost forever. I was certain that I had gone too far and hell is where I was going to spend eternity. I was always in church and was raised to pray and read the bible. I asked Jesus Christ into my life at a young age but turned my back on Him countless times. I always did enough just to get by. I would put on a show for everyone all while dying inside with absolutely NO hope.

What ultimately turned me around and shook me was my amazing wife. Even more than that it was an AMAZING GOD!!

He sent His Son Jesus Christ to save me completely from the inside out! My wife earnestly and faithfully prayed for me for years that I would stop the lusting and sexual sin and truly seek repentance. She prayed I would truly find FREEDOM IN CHRIST!! When I finally came around and really gave Jesus Christ my whole life it was utterly amazing. I can’t even begin to put into words what He did for me. For the first time in my life I felt transformed and complete in Him. I am so thankful for a strong and faithful praying wife. I am thankful God put us back together again and never stopped loving me and my family. As Real Life Stories Christian Testimony Books are like Big Tracts on Christian, Evangelism, Bibles, Soul Winning Tracts, Witnessing, and Salvation!

Right now as I look at my awesome wife of more than 16 years, our 6 miracle children, and a business going into its 14th season, I am completely undone by how much God loves me and my family. I am free. I am blessed beyond measure. I know my future is in God’s hands. I am safe and walking victoriously because God sent His son Jesus Christ to save me. I am a wholly transformed son of God. The cares of this world, lust, and sexual sin do not have a hold of me because I am saved, set free, and complete in Him. My wife and 6 children are also saved and set free, serving Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. It doesn’t get any better than that!! To God the Father, the Son, and the Gospel Tracts  I give all the praise and glory!!!

Holy Spirit Was Showing Me The Way Out Of My Mess

In my sophomore year of high school, I started to drink and party. One beer turned to smoking pot. I started to bar hop and get deep into rock and roll music. Between the years of 14-24, I just loved to get drunk and party. My girlfriend was pregnant, we married and we had a daughter, Jennifer. Her mother left me shortly after that. The next three years of my life were lost years. I had no idea of my purpose in life. I played and loved baseball. I tried out for a major league, but I wasn’t good enough to make a living out of it.

At age 21, I started going to different race tracks. It was then that I started gambling and betting on horses. This was the worst time of my life. I loved the high of winning and seeing your horse cross the finish line. But every time I bet, I lost 90% of the time. Even when I won, I would lose the money the next day. I would lose my whole paycheck on those Friday nights and would scrape through the week. Some weeks I would go 6 days a week.

I would remember leaving the race track in 1979 with no money. I started crying out to God. I constantly would think, what is wrong with me? I didn’t realize that God was dealing with me with Salvation Tracts. I know now that the Holy Spirit was showing me the way out of my mess.

God was creating in me a clean heart and renewing in me a right spirit.

I started hating what I was doing and just started begging God to change my life and help me. I got so sick and tired of my life style. I started hating the bar life and partying. I was tired of getting drunk all the time and being high on drugs. The gambling addiction had messed me up so bad, I never had money. Then, one day I saw this church that I drove by 9 months earlier. I said, I am going to give up this life of sin and I am going to serve God 100%. That week-end I went to the race track that last time and had my last beer. That Sunday morning I went to that church and totally surrendered my life to Jesus Christ. I was ready to live like the apostles of old. God’s presence was guiding me and preparing me for a divine appointment with Him. I renounced all my wicked ways. I asked God to deliver me from addictions of gambling, drugs and drinking. I remember just crying and crying because God was totally changing my life. Three days later, a scripture just lifted up my heart. It said, “If any man be in Christ he is a new creation.” I used to always wonder about when people would say, “Are you saved?” I now know what they meant. Old things passed away! For me, that meant drinking, gambling, drugs.

February 2, 1980 Sunday morning, Oh what a day! That was the day when I made an absolute surrender to God. I gave my life to Jesus and I experienced a new life in Christian Testimony. Old things passed away and all things became new. I use to wonder about that phrase, “born again “what did that mean? I loved God, grew up in a beautiful Christian home, but I had no idea what born again was all about. I knew about God but to have a real relationship, I never knew. I did not know a life like this could exist.

It’s been 35 years now and I have never gone back to those old ways. I now go around sharing the new and everlasting Gospel Tracts of Jesus Christ. That sinner, you don’t have to sin anymore! Jesus saves from sin, sickness, and death! Jesus came to restore our lives! God Bless you as you read this and may you find God our Father through Jesus Christ by His power and the wonder working presence of His Holy Spirit. And Jesus would say to you, “Come unto me! Only believe and I will give and show you everlasting life. Behold! I am with you!
